‘Project Runway' Season 21 Gets Premiere Date & First Look Teaser With Heidi Klum As Host On Freeform, Hulu & Disney+ Reboot
Heidi Klum is officially returning to Project Runway for the reboot on Freeform, Hulu, and Disney+. The designing competition will air weekly starting Thursday, July 31, and a first-look teaser showed Klum back home. 'And it's good to be home.' Klum ends the teaser with a variation of her signature catchphrase, 'Get in, or your out.' Project Runway will premiere Season 21 with a two-episode drop on Thursday, July 31 at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform. The episode will be available to stream shortly after for Hulu and Disney+ subscribers. Subsequent episodes will air weekly at 10 p.m. ET. Klum will host Season 21 of Project Runway, and the former model will also serve as a judge. She will be joined by OG judge Nina García, with Law Roach rounding out the judging panel. Christian Siriano will mentor the designers. RELATED: The competition series made its debut on Bravo in 2004 and revolutionized the reality genre. Project Runway ran for five seasons on Bravo before moving to Lifetime for eleven more seasons. For its 17th season, the show returned to Bravo, where it ran for four seasons. Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries produce Project Runway. Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland serve as executive producers for Spyglass. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker, and San Heng serve as executive producers for Alfred Street Industries. Klum, Siriano, and Garcia also serve as executive producers. ‘Project Runway Canada' Adds Spencer Badu As Judge & Aurora James As Mentor

Badu and James will join previously announced host and judge Coco Rocha and fellow judge Jeanne Beker in Bell Media's Crave reality series competition. Badu is a Toronto-based designer known for his genderless streetwear designs. He has won multiple CAFA awards and has had his designs worn by Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky. James is an author known for her memoir Wildflower. She is also the founder of accessories brand Brother Vellies, vice chair member of the CFDA, and founder of the non-profit Fifteen Percent Pledge, an organization that encourages retailers to pledge at least 15 percent of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses. Filming is set to begin this summer, and the series will debut on Crave later this year. Project Runway Canada is based on the Fremantle format created by Eli Holzman in 2004 and owned by Spyglass Media Group. The reality competition was first adapted for Canadian audiences in 2007 and last aired in 2009 after two seasons. Heidi Klum Will Return to 'Project Runway' When Season 21 Airs This Summer
Heidi Klum said it herself: 'It's good to be home.' The supermodel and Project Runway host will officially return to the beloved fashion competition when season 21 airs this summer on Disney's Freeform. Klum will rejoin the program as both a host and a judge, surveying each week's design challenges alongside ELLE editor-in-chief Nina Garcia and iconic 'image architect' Law Roach. Designer (and Project Runway winner) Christian Siriano will return as the contestants's mentor. Garcia celebrated the news back in March, posting an Instagram photo of herself holding a cue card featuring Klum in an earlier Runway season. 'We are soooo back @heidiklum 🤩,' she captioned the post. 'Excited to return to @projectrunway with the OG and my two favorites @csiriano and @luxurylaw. You KNOW it's going to be a good season…so many surprises in store…' Season 21 will comprise a total of 10 episodes, with the two-episode premiere launching Thursday, July 31, at 9 P.M. ET on Freeform. The remaining eight installments will air weekly on Thursdays at 10 P.M. ET. After each week's broadcast, fans will be able to stream episodes on Hulu and Disney+. Klum will make her highly anticipated homecoming after leaving Project Runway in 2018, after which she joined the Prime Video fashion competition show Making the Cut. That series aired for three seasons while Project Runway continued its own multi-decade run.
