Local law enforcement hosts 'Fresh Baked Bread with Badges'

MIDLAND/ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Odessa Police Department and the Ector County Sheriff's Office are inviting the community to join them for their annual 'Fresh Baked Bread with Badges' event. OPD and ECSO will be at the Texas Roadhouse located at 4221 N. Grandview in Odessa on Thursday, April 10 for anyone who would like join. The Midland Police Department and Midland County Sheriff's Office will also be hosting their own 'Fresh Baked Bread with Badges' event on April 10, as well. They will be at the Texas Roadhouse in Midland, located at 4512 W. Loop 250 N. All four departments say that specialized units will be on display and that these are kid-friendly events. You can let them know that you're coming on their Facebook pages. $20 Raffle tickets will be sold for buyers to win one of the three prizes listed below. The drawing will take place on Friday, May 2 and you do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from the event will help to pay for some much-needed equipment for law enforcement. 1st Prize: 2025 Polaris Ranger Crew 570 (valued at $14,799) 2nd Prize: $2,600 Kent Kwik Gas Card & 4 Oil Changes (valued at $70 each) 3rd Prize: CROSS-MAG-7PRC-24B-SAW Rifle (valued at $2,800) This event is part of the Bustin' For Badges fundraiser that helps supply local law enforcement with life-saving equipment.
