James Buckley, who is best known for playing the role of Jay Cartwright, announced the news in a recent clip. Alongside his wife, he said: "Hi guys, how's it going? "And you'll be able to join us on Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm." James Buckley was born in Croydon in 1987 and is best known for playing the role of James Buckley in The Inbetweeners alongside Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison. Friday night (May 2) saw another episode of Gogglebox air on TV, which is now in its 25th series. Channel 4's favourite armchair critics including Mary and Giles, and Pete and Sophie, reacting to the best shows and programmes throughout the week, including Married at First Sight and Scam Interceptors. But following last night's show, some viewers slammed cast members Jenny and Lee from Hull as 'attention-seeking'. While another claimed the pair, known for their humorous friendship, 'rehearse those funny trick scenes for the programme'. Adding: 'Don't like false play-acting just for attention.' As a general critique for the show, this user commented: 'It's a shame the spontaneous reaction of the goggleboxers has got worse most now play to the camera. #Gogglebox.' However, others remain fans of the popular Channel 4 stars, who have been part of the hit series since 2014.
