Comedy star to join Celebrity Gogglebox alongside funny wife
James Buckley, who is best known for playing the role of Jay Cartwright, announced the news in a recent clip. Alongside his wife, he said: "Hi guys, how's it going? We are joining the Gogglebox family." In the video shared by The Sun, he added: "We're going to be watching some great TV and some not-so-great TV. "And you'll be able to join us on Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm." James Buckley was born in Croydon in 1987 and is best known for playing the role of James Buckley in The Inbetweeners alongside Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison. According to IMDb, the show aired for three seasons between 2008 and 2010. There were also two films that were released in 2011 and 2014. Gogglebox viewers slam 'attention-seeking' Channel 4 favourites
Friday night (May 2) saw another episode of Gogglebox air on TV, which is now in its 25th series. Channel 4's favourite armchair critics including Mary and Giles, and Pete and Sophie, reacting to the best shows and programmes throughout the week, including Married at First Sight and Scam Interceptors. But following last night's show, some viewers slammed cast members Jenny and Lee from Hull as 'attention-seeking'.
