Friday Wind Down: Savannah Arts Academy Festival Choir
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — In this week's Friday Wind Down, we're going to hear from the Savannah Arts Academy Festival Choir. Last weekend, they traveled to Walt Disney World for the Festival Disney competition, where they were the top performing ensemble that weekend with a score of 97 out of 100. Here they are on the festival stage singing 'San Bonani' featuring soloists Mark Ramos and Chris Toller. The Savannah Arts Festival choir members are involved in one or more ensembles from the choral department including bella voice, cantabile, chorale, the/bass choir and the Skylarks. Friday Wind Down: Laiken Williams
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Laiken Williams is a powerhouse vocalist living in Savannah. You may know her from performances at the Savannah Philharmonic, Daufuskie Gullah Festival, or Savannah Wine and Food Festival. Forming her band, Laiken Love and Fellowship of Love in 2014, she's set the bar high for quality entertainment in the Hostess City. She's solo today, but she brings down the house on today's edition of Friday Wind Down.
