Linkin Park Blocked From A Landmark No. 1 Hit By Two Hard Rock Stars

Linkin Park's 'Let You Fade' debuts at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, losing to ... More Marilyn Manson and Falling In Reverse's 'God Is a Weapon.' MONTERREY, MEXICO - FEBRUARY 5: Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, performs during a concert as part of the 'From Zero World Tour' at Estadio Banorte on February 5, 2025 in Monterrey, Mexico. (Photo by Medios) Linkin Park recently released a deluxe version of its comeback album From Zero, which arrived on May 16. The expanded set, which bolts up the Billboard charts this week thanks to a surge in sales and streams, features three new tracks, though only one had not been previously shared. Following the full-length project dropping as a complete effort, its one brand new cut, 'Let You Fade,' debuts on a number of rankings this week. The tune nearly grants the hard rockers another No. 1, but two other stars keep the band from the top spot. 'Let You Fade' launches at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. According to Luminate, in its first full tracking frame of availability, the track sold just under 1,600 copies. The song is held from the summit by 'God Is a Weapon,' the new collaboration between Falling in Reverse and Marilyn Manson. That tune opens at No. 1 on the same tally and beats Linkin Park's latest by roughly 500 pure purchases. 'Let You Fade' marks Linkin Park's thirty-second top 10 hit on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. It would have been the group's landmark fifteenth No. 1, but for now, the band will have to settle for a close second — just shy of the summit. The new track is one of several Linkin Park cuts to narrowly miss leading the tally. As it arrives, it joins fellow fan favorites like 'What I've Done,' 'Lost in the Echo,' 'Wastelands,' and 'More the Victim,' all of which peaked at No. 2 over the years. Manson earns his fourth No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart as 'God Is a Weapon' debuts. Falling in Reverse, meanwhile, secures its milestone tenth leader. While Linkin Park doesn't add to its count this time, it's worth noting that the Grammy-winning band has already accrued as many No. 1s as both of those chart-toppers combined.

Linkin Park Kept From A New No. 1 By Just One Space

Linkin Park's 'Up From the Bottom' debuts at No. 2 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and hits No. 1 ... More on Hard Rock Digital Song Sales tally as the band's comeback continues. LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 24: Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park performs during the 'From Zero World Tour' at The O2 Arena on September 24, 2024 in London, England. (Photo by) Linkin Park is back with a brand new single, and unsurprisingly, it's already a hit. The group's latest track 'Up From the Bottom' earns a healthy start on several of this week's Billboard charts. The tune debuts on double-digit tallies and quickly proves to be one of the most successful hard rock releases of 2025. 'Up From the Bottom' is an instant favorite among fans of harder rock in America. The cut opens at No. 2 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, Billboard's ranking of the most-consumed tunes in that genre. The tally blends streaming numbers, digital sales, and radio airplay to show what Americans are really listening to when it comes to hard rock – and this week, it's Linkin Park. There's only one tune that stands in Linkin Park's way when it comes to earning another No. 1. Sleep Token holds steady atop the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart with 'Emergence.' The smash spends a third nonconsecutive week in charge, out of its four total appearances on the tally. 'Up From the Bottom' might not be Linkin Park's fifth No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs tally – at least not yet – but it's a major win nonetheless. The cut is the group's eighteenth top 10 on the genre-specific ranking. Only two Linkin Park releases have failed to reach the top 10, which is a fairly incredible ratio. While 'Up From the Bottom' misses the top spot on the all-encompassing Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, it does manage to lead elsewhere. The track rockets to No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking this week. It improves on its No. 5 debut last frame. 'Up From the Bottom' also makes impressive starts on a few other tallies. It debuts at No. 3 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart and slips into the top 10 on Hard Rock Streaming Songs list, opening at No. 9. The new single arrives just before Linkin Park plans to release the deluxe edition of From Zero, which first dropped in late 2024. That album marked a significant comeback for the band, and it generated several big hits. Now, it looks like the forthcoming extended take on the original is doing the same.
