Arkansas Storm Team Blog: June full moon overnight
Tonight, June 10th, our next full moon will be visible! Tonight's full moon is called the Strawberry Moon. This full moon gets it's name because it rises around the time of year strawberries are ready for harvest.
Technically our full moon will be 100% full early Wednesday morning, June 11th. The official full moon will be around 2:43 AM Wednesday. However, it will appear full Tuesday night, and conditions will be perfect for viewing!
Skies will be clear tonight & overnight. Temperatures will fall into the 70s this evening, and eventually into the 60s overnight.
Our next full moon will be the Full Buck Moon on July 10th.
