Beaufort PD to hold 2025 Future Guardians Initiative summer camp
BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) – The Beaufort Police Department (BPD) has announced that its Future Guardians Initiative Summer Camp will be returning for 2025.
This year's camp will take place from June 23–26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day at the Beaufort Police Department. This camp is designed for students ages 11–17 who attend Beaufort County schools.
The program offers a unique, hands-on experience exploring the world of law enforcement. Those who attend will:
Participate in patrol tactics and crime scene investigations
Learn leadership and life skills
Engage in real-life police scenarios
Enjoy daily activities with officers and mentors from Beaufort PD
Lunch and snacks will be provided each day. Campers will also receive a Future Guardians T-shirt, swag bag, and Certificate of Completion.
Completion of an application process is required and space is limited. To apply, click here. The deadline to apply is May 31, 2025. Participants must have transportation to and from the Beaufort Police Department each day
