Gemma confessed that she's finding the ordeal, which has lasted almost a month, "shocking" and any respite she had from taking prescribed steroids has gone. She explained: "It was DJ Fat Tony's wedding and I had to take them to get through that, but I'm off them now and the sickness is really kicking back in." The star said she felt frustrated because she's normally so full of energy. She finished: "…Now I get really breathless really quickly and I feel like I'm dying.' The reality star hasn't needed hospital treatment but says she's relying on her doctor, who's been checking in on her at home. Despite doctors urging her to rest, Gemma's still pushing on — though she admits it goes against her nature to slow down. Gemma Collins shows off her two stone weight loss in pink cycling shorts The TV personality confessed she has one job to do this weekend, which she's determined to honour, and then will be able to relax for two weeks. Wouldn't want anything to happen to you.' Former EastEnders and Celebrity Big Brother star Danniella Westbrook also showed love, dropping a heart emoji in the comments. Even as she battles the nasty lung infection, Gemma isn't missing her latest event. Today (7th June) she's teaming up with Trainline at King's Cross to launch SlayStation: a glam pit stop designed to help partygoers kick off their big nights out in style. Fans heading through the station will be treated to makeup, hair, and glow-up touch-ups from pros, with the GC herself fronting the fun.

Gemma Collins soaks up the sun on the beach in strapless dress after revealing weight loss jabs had transformed her life
GEMMA Collins basked in the sun after heading to the seaside to make the most of the British heatwave. The 44-year-old wore a strapless dress to lie out on the pebble beach in Whitstable alongside her celebrity stylist pal Lucas Armitage. 7 7 7 The pair puffed on cigarettes during their boozy day out as temperatures reached 22C in the Kent coast. Gemma wore an off the shoulder dress in a bid to even out her tan, although appeared sunburned on her chest and back. Just back from a holiday in Marbella, she threw on the colourful patterned outfit after baring all in a strapless swimsuit earlier in the week. Gemma looked relaxed and happy as she chatted with her friend and spent time on her phone while sunbathing. As TV's most famous poster girl for shapely women, Gemma recently opened up about resorting to Mounjaro weight loss jabs after years of fad diets. The former Towie star had famously told her ex James 'Arg' Argent, who she briefly dated in 2012 and again from 2017 to 2020: "You ain't never gonna get this candy" while rocking her curves. She now hopes to be a size 16 by the summer in a final desperate attempt to have a baby, telling The Sun: "I think I'll give birth to twins next year!" Gemma has praised the weight loss jabs for transforming her life - having weighed over 23st at her heaviest, fitting into a size 26. As well as her weight struggles, Gemma believes there's other health benefits to Mounjaro, which could help improve Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The condition, which Gemma suffers from, can cause weight gain and fertility issues. Sun Club's exclusive interview with Gemma Collins about her weight loss journey She's been using the NHS -approved drug since November and revealed she's lost three stone. However, she worries about whether she's ageing at an increased rate, telling fans: 'I really don't know what's happened to me, I really don't. It's just come on me overnight. But it has been a year since I've had any little tweakments. 'I don't know if it's since I've been losing weight. I sure haven't got 'Ozempic face' yet, but it would be the dream right now. 'I've always had a fuller face, as you know. I do like expression around my eyes. I want to look natural still. But this just isn't right. "What has happened? I am 44 but this is taking it to levels that I never, ever imagined it'd get to.' 7 7 7

Gemma Collins in talks for I'm A Celebrity comeback – 11 years after iconic exit following just three days in camp
GEMMA Collins is in talks to join I'm A Celebrity All-Stars despite quitting camp after just three days. ITV has begun initial talks with the best-loved campmates ahead of filming in South Africa. 2 2 The GC, 44, tops execs' wish list after the reality star's abysmal I'm A Celeb effort Down Under in 2014. A source said: 'She hated it first time round but knows it would be TV gold for her fans if she gave it another go. "The discussions could go either way but signing her would be a huge win for execs.' Back in 2014, Gemma's complaints over the camp's dunny and the lack of food made for hilarious scenes. She claimed to have malaria and had a panic attack before being taken to the camp in a helicopter. A year after quitting, Gemma told The Sun she wanted another go. She said: 'Everything would be different a second time. "I'd be like Lara Croft and Angelina Jolie rolled into one, and I'd do the tasks. I'm not scared of nothing. "Hopefully one day the producers may give me another chance.' It comes after she said she wants to be the next Victoria Beckham, with fiancé Rami Hawash as David. The ex-Towie star plans to move from Essex, saying: 'The only way is the Cotswolds for me.' I'm A Celebrity . . . South Africa first aired in spring 2023 and averaged 5.2million viewers across its consecutive weeknights run. It reached more than a million 16 to 34-year-olds for the launch episode. The new run will be filmed in October and air in 2026.

Horrified Gemma Collins complains ‘it isn't right' as her face ‘changes' after weight loss jabs
GEMMA Collins has been left horrified after noticing changes to her face which she believes could be linked to weight loss jabs. The former Towie star, 44, has been using the NHS-approved drug Mounjaro since November in a bid to lose weight. 4 She quickly shifted two stone and, earlier this year, confidently told us that she expects to be six stone lighter by next month. However, while the pounds have been falling away, Gemma is convinced her face is aging at an increased rate, with deep lines and wrinkles appearing out of nowhere. She wrote on social media: 'I really don't know what's happened to me, I really don't. What has happened? I am 44 but this is taking it to levels that I never, ever imagined it'd get to.' Loose skin and sagging are a known effects of using drugs like Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic due to the change in the amount of fat stored in the face. At her heaviest, Gemma weighed over 23st and was a size 26. She told us that she couldn't even roll over in bed and was left unable to wear sexy lingerie. During her darkest period Gemma had a secret operation to have a gastric balloon fitted called an Obalon Balloon, but was left feeling so unwell she believed she'd die. Now, after years of fad diets, Gemma believes Mounjaro is her best shot of dropping weight for good and could even help her achieve her dream of becoming a mum. She said: "I think I'll give birth to twins next year! Gemma Collins reveals she's dropped two dress sizes after using fat loss injections to lose weight 'I can't believe I've finally found something that works. I've lost nearly two stone already and it's been completely effortless - I don't even want to eat anymore!' Gemma, who is engaged to Rami Hawash, told us how she started noticing a change to her body composition just days after beginning her course of jabs. She said: 'I was like, 'Wow, this is unbelievable.' The weight was finally coming off of me. 'I got on the scales and lost something like 6kg in my first week. I bet my house by May, I'll have six stone off. And it's been effortless." She added: 'I've struggled for many, many years to lose weight... All my life... I tried everything.' 'I can remember at school taking a tablet called Reductil… (an appetite suppressant which is now unavailable and was taken off the market). 4 4 'I've saved money being on Mounjaro, probably £1,500 a month on the weekly shop. My life doesn't revolve around food any more." The constant battle with food has been a heavy burden for Gemma over the years, leading to periods of depression and desperation. But she now feels hopeful that those days are over. 'I was starving before," she continued. "I would be suicidal on diets. That awful feeling of… 'Have I got to spend the rest of my life in this toxic dieting chain?' 'I know that depression, upset and desperation. I've been weighing food portions and eating two boiled eggs a day for years. "I don't have that any more. No one understands unless they've been there too, but I'm excited for my future now. 'This is a revolutionary, life-changing drug for someone who has struggled with weight their whole life. 'There's all this pressure people don't realise. A weight problem clouds your whole life.' What to do if you lose too much weight too quickly whilst on Mounjaro IF you're losing too much weight too quickly while on Mounjaro, it's important to take action to avoid potential health risks like muscle loss, malnutrition, dehydration, and fatigue. Here's what you can do: Evaluate Your Caloric Intake Mounjaro reduces appetite, which can make it easy to eat too little. If you're losing weight too fast (more than two to three lbs per week after the initial adjustment period), try: Tracking your food intake to ensure you're eating enough calories (apps like MyFitnessPal can help). Increasing protein intake to preserve muscle mass (aim for 0.6–1g per pound of body weight). Adding healthy fats and complex carbs (e.g., avocados, nuts, whole grains) for balanced energy. Adjust Your Dosage (With Doctor's Approval) If your weight loss is too rapid or causing side effects, your doctor may: Pause dose increases or lower your dosage. Adjust your treatment plan to stabilise your weight loss. Strength Training & Exercise To prevent muscle loss: Incorporate resistance training at least two to three times per week. Stay active with low-impact exercises like walking or yoga. Hydrate & Manage Electrolytes Drink enough water (Mounjaro can reduce thirst). Electrolytes matter - Consider adding magnesium, sodium, and potassium if you feel weak or fatigued. Monitor for Malnutrition & Deficiencies Rapid weight loss can cause vitamin/mineral deficiencies (especially B12, iron, and electrolytes). If you experience: Fatigue, hair loss, or dizziness, ask your doctor about supplements. Consider Further Medical Guidance If your weight loss is excessive or causing health concerns, speak with your healthcare provider. They might adjust your dosage, diet, or exercise plan to help stabilise your weight loss.
