Panthers Morgan earns first GLVC Player of the Week honors
SPRINGFIELD–Drury baseball's Wyatt Morgan got a two-for-one deal out of his performance this past weekend.
The graduate transfer from Missouri Southern not only helped the Panthers sweep the Southwest Baptist Bearcats in the final Great Lakes Valley Conference series of the regular season, but his effort at the plate also earned Morgan his first GLVC Player of the Week award.
Over the four games, Morgan went 7-11, recording four walks, two doubles, three home runs, seven rbi, and also scored six times.
Morgan becomes the third Panthers player to earn the honor this season.
