Local vendors showcase art at the Spring Sidewalk Sale in Greenville
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Greenville Museum of Art is hosting their annual Spring Sidewalk Sale which provides local artists and vendors an opportunity to market their goods.
The event will be held in the parking lot on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to come check out the goods for sale, enjoy live music and food trucks. Artists say the event is just one of the many ways GMOA tries uniting people in Greenville with local artists.
'Our whole focus is to be in touch with the local community. We do a lot of outreach programs with a bunch of instructors. We even have a whole education program that we run and what our primary focus and really the focus of tomorrow is really emphasize that,' said Justin Tyler-King, Graphic Designer at ECU.
Along with the sidewalk sale, Tyler-King and other local artists will be hosting an art show for their thesis during the First Friday Art Walk on April 4 at 5 p.m.
