Post Malone And Morgan Wallen Reach A Special Chart Milestone Together

'I Had Some Help' by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen hits 52 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, holding ... More steady at No. 14 and showing no signs of slowing. Having first made his name in hip-hop and later as a pop star, the Grammy nominee made it clear he intended to try something new, announcing to the world that he was recording a country album. There were skeptics, but after a few promotional and one-off tracks were shared, some in the space began to embrace him. Recruiting Wallen — the style's hottest star — proved to be a smart move, and the two scored a huge win with 'I Had Some Help' right out of the gate, as it debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The single continues to perform spectacularly as it reaches a notable milestone this week. 'I Had Some Help' celebrates its first full year on the Hot 100, Billboard's ranking of the most popular songs in America. The tune reaches 52 weeks on the tally this frame and doesn't appear to be fading anytime soon. At the moment, the Malone/Wallen duet holds steady at No. 14, just below the top 10. Billboard has a rule in place stating that after 52 weeks on the Hot 100, a song must remain above No. 25 to stay on the ranking. If it dips below that position for any reason, it will be removed, and it's very difficult for any composition to return. It seems likely that 'I Had Some Help' will hold on for at least another week or two, and depending on competition, it could live on the busy list for months. 'I Had Some Help' is currently present on half a dozen U.S.-based Billboard lists. It has already passed a year on one or two of them, and is approaching that milestone on several others. The track appears on general rosters like the Streaming Songs and Radio Songs rankings, where it's present inside the top 20. It's also still found within the top 10 on the Adult Contemporary, Hot Country Songs, and Country Streaming Songs charts — an incredible showing for a year-old release. Malone has now seen four songs spend at least 52 weeks on the Hot 100. 'I Had Some Help' is currently tied with 'Better Now,' which also lasted exactly one year. It will likely pass that figure next week, potentially matching 'Sunflower,' his hugely successful track with Swae Lee, which held on for 53 frames. His longest-charting success remains 'Circles,' which spent 61 weeks on the tally. Wallen, meanwhile, earns his sixth one-year charter. 'I Had Some Help' matches 'Thought You Should Know' with exactly 52 stays on the tally. His longest-running win remains 'You Proof,' which stayed on the Hot 100 for 62 weeks.
