Young handlers' event marks launch of 2025 Tullamore Show
Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show launched their 2025 show with a learning day for young handlers recently (Sunday, April 27).
Young handlers flocked from around the country from early morning and converged at GVM Mart Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
Representatives from FBD were on hand to launch the show – local FBD branch manager Amanda Brennan along with Emer O'Byrne, national head of brand strategy, and Pat Gilligan, head of sales, midlands and western region.
Tullamore Show chairperson, John Keena opened proceedings by welcoming everyone to the young handlers' event where he also thanked all sponsors and FBD its title sponsor, for their loyal support.
Keena also expressed his gratitude to Antoinette Daly of GVM Tullamore, for providing the venue and thanked all the Executive who gave their time in the preparation and setting up of both the event and the launch.
The aim of the young handlers' event was that each participant would learn the skills necessary for handling stock at Tullamore Show.

Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show will take place at Butterfield Estate on Sunday, August 10.
