Feb 20, 2025 A new Guinness World Record for the largest aerial display combining drones and fireworks has been set in Abu Dhabi. The record-breaking event took place during the Gala Dinner Ceremony for the 4th Global Symposium on Implementation Support and the Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace, held from February 10th to the 12th. A total of 1,000 drones were deployed in the performance, with 300 forming illuminated rings, while 152 live fireworks were launched in a precisely synchronized sequence. Beyond this aerial spectacle, Abu Dhabi and the UAE have continued to set new records across various fields. The Sheikh Zayed Festival's New Year's Eve celebrations broke multiple records with massive drone and firework displays, while a nationwide initiative saw nearly 4,000 participants set a record for the most users completing a remote 1 km walk in 24 hours. Additionally, SeaWorld Yas Island was recognized as the world's largest indoor marine-life theme park.

The record-breaking display took place during the Gala Dinner Ceremony, marking the first day of the 4th Global Symposium on Implementation Support and the Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace, hosted in Abu Dhabi from February 10 to 12.
