Eagle-eyed viewers spot cameos from VERY famous stars in hit 2013 movie - can you spot who it is?
Over a decade after the action-packed film White House Down hit theaters, fans have spotted two A-list stars' secret cameos: Jeff Bezos ' partner Lauren Sanchez and Real Housewives alum Garcelle Beauvais. Before Sanchez was jetting off into space and dating one of the richest men in the world, she was a television personality and made small cameos in major motion pictures. In the 2013 film, White House Down, Sanchez portrayed a reporter and delivered the grim news that the president, played by Jamie Foxx, died in a terrorist attack. As Sanchez's character delivered the news, Beauvais, who played the First Lady, watched on in tears with her daughter. Viewers were shocked to see Sanchez make a surprise cameo with one telling 'Is that Lauren Sanchez? What is she doing there?????' 'Oh my god Lauren Sanchez?! That's not a place you would expect to see her pop up,' another viewer added. 'Literally what is she doing in a movie,' a third joked. 'Wow good for her, I didn't know she could act,' a fourth added. Even though Beauvais snagged the role of the star's on-screen wife, she was only featured in two scenes of the film. White House Down stars Foxx as President James Sawyer, who finds himself in a death-defying situation when violent mercenaries siege the White House. Channing Tatum's character, Capital Policeman John Cale, happens to be in the White House with his daughter during the attack, interviewing for his dream job in the Secret Service. Cale gets the chance to prove his abilities in real time when he runs into President Sawyer after he's separated from his daughter, played by Joey King. Cale embarks on an action-packed adventure to protect the president and save his daughter while the country erupts into chaos. Beauvais makes her first appearance at the start of the movie when she calls her president from abroad to discuss the circumstances of an impending treaty. President Sawyer then reveals to his wife that he's concerned about his re-election and fears he'll be a one-term president. The first lady then reminds President Sawyer of an artifact she gifted him that Mary Todd Lincoln once gave her husband to symbolize the limited time he has to help the American people. 'I hear you - well, kiss Amber for me, okay? I love you ladies, and I miss you. I gotta go back to being president,' President Sawyer responds before hanging up the phone. Shortly after the touching phone call, the country descends into chaos, and there's a brief moment where Americans fear their president has died in the White House. Beauvais makes her second appearance watching the tragedy from a hotel room in fear that her husband has been killed. It's that moment when none other than Sanchez, portraying Reporter 12 in the film, comes on screen to deliver the news. 'Vice President Hammond has just been sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, confirming, of course, the worst possible scenario - the death of President James Sawyer. 'People all over the globe have been holding their breath, wondering, "What is happening right here in America?" After all, the United States has the biggest weapons arsenal in the world.' As Sanchez delivers her lines, the camera pans to Beauvais, who is holding her daughter in tears. Sanchez's cameo isn't her only credit as a news reporter. She also played a newscaster in the 1999 thriller, Fight Club, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Sanchez was featured as an anchor or on-air reporter in the films, Ted 2, Celeste & Jesse Forever, We Bought a Zoo, Dirt, College Road Trip, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Zoom, Akeelah and the Bee, Fantastic Four, The Longest Yard, Cellular, and The Day After Tomorrow. She portrayed an on-air reporter in multiple television shows as well, including the sitcom Girlfriends and the Sci-Fi series, Babylon 5. Sanchez's numerous credits as an on-air reporter reflect her early career as a television personality. She started her broadcast career at a local news station in Arizona before serving as a correspondent for Extra. Sanchez also worked for Fox Sports Net and Good Day LA. After a failed audition for The View, she hosted the first season of So You Think You Can Dance and contributed to Larry King Live, The Joy Behar Show, and Showbiz Tonight. Beauvais, on the other hand, had more luck scoring starring roles, catapulting to fame on The Jamie Foxx Show, where she played her White House Down co-star's love interest. She was also featured alongside Eddie Murphy in Coming 2 America and had a recurring role on ABC's NYPD Blue. Beauvais then took on an executive producer role in 2023 for the movie Black Girl Missing, in which she also starred.

Garcelle Beauvais On Why She Quit ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Reunion & Refused Cast Photo: 'They're All F***ing A**holes'
Garcelle Beauvais quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons, a decision she made following her storming off the set of the Season 14 reunion. With the conclusion of the three-part reunion, Bravo aired the moment that led to Beauvais storming off the show's set, leaving everyone shocked and surprised. More from Deadline Garcelle Beauvais Storms Off 'RHOBH' Season 14 Reunion In Explosive Trailer: 'I Am Just So F***ing Sick Of It' Bozoma Saint John 'Disappointed' In Garcelle Beauvais For Quitting 'RHOBH': 'I Don't Think It's A High Note' 'The Valley's Kristen Doute On Feeling Vindicated Coming Into Season 2 & Why She's Happy About 'Vanderpump Rules' Reboot The reunion was ending, as usual, with a toast to ending a season and hoping to start things fresh in the next one. However, after a toast, Andy Cohen asked the cast to take a group photo celebrating the end, but Beauvais wasn't going to continue pretending anymore. 'I'm out,' Beauvais said, leaving host Cohen surprised. Dorit Kemsley, who Beauvais clashed with during the reunion, said, 'Garcelle, that's not cool.' 'I don't want to be in the cast photo,' Beauvais said as she walked off the set. 'Garcelle, that's really unprofessional,' Kemsley added. RELATED: Cohen noted that at the beginning of filming the reunion, Beauvais was hopeful that the cast could get a group photo at the end, as they hadn't taken one the previous year. Cameras followed Beauvais to her dressing room, where she said, 'I'm not doing this anymore. I don't want cameras here. I'm done.' In a hot mic moment, Beauvais is heard saying, 'And I never say I don't want cameras. I'm always a team player. But this — there's no team. I'm not doing it anymore. I'm not.' RELATED: On the set, Cohen asked Beauvais' closest friend Sutton Stracke what was going on, to which she said, 'I don't know. She's really unhappy.' Cameras were able to catch Beauvais once again where she aired out her frustration with the situation. 'I'm just so f***ing sick of it. It's like, they're all f***ing a**holes. No one said, 'Oh, I understand what you're saying.' No one said anything,' Beauvais said. During the reunion, Beauvais admitted feeling Kemsley's house invasion was a setup. Bozoma Saint John jumped in, saying it was 'dangerous' for Beauavais to say this. 'I'm always honest, but nobody said, 'Oh, you have accountability.' Everybody jumped on me,' Beuaivais said in her dressing room. 'And I felt I was on an island by myself. I can't be friends with people like that. I don't trust them and they obviously don't trust me.' At the reunion set, Stracke said she didn't really understand why Beauvais was upset. 'I'm done,' Beuvais continued saying. 'It's been an amazing ride. I'm so grateful for the opportunity, but I'm done.' The RHOBH cast took the photo without Beauvais, who left without saying goodbye to her fellow castmates. Stracke would later go to Beauvais' dressing room, but she had already left. Beauvais had been a loyal friend to Stracke throughout their time on the Bravo reality series. The year before, Beauvais left the reunion stage after Stracke had a medical emergency during filming. However, when Beauvais walked off the reunion stage this year, Stracke didn't seem to make the effort to go find her friend to comfort her. Following the reunion filming, Beauvais released a statement saying she was leaving RHOBH to focus on her family and multiple film and television projects. Best of Deadline 'And Just Like That ...' Garcelle Beauvais is leaving ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': ‘It's been a wild ride'
Garcelle Beauvais is done with 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' 'It's been a wild ride. I mean, some of the most amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened. But it's been a ride nevertheless,' she said in a video posted Tuesday on social media, adding later that she had 'the most exciting projects' lined up for the future. 'CHEERS TO THE NEXT CHAPTER,' she wrote in the caption. The five-year show veteran was the first Black woman in the 'RHOBH' cast when she joined in 2020. She leaves behind full-time cast members Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke and Bozoma Saint John and part-time friends of the show Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly. After transitioning from modeling to acting in the mid-1980s, starting with minor roles in 'Miami Vice' and 'The Cosby Show,' Beauvais, 58, put together a robust career. She had recurring roles on 'NYPD Blue,' 'Franklin & Bash' and 'The Jamie Foxx Show' plus parts in movies including 'Coming 2 America' and 'Spider-Man: Homecoming.' But when the 'Housewives' offer came, her manager told her to stay away from it, she told The Times in November. Instead, the single mother of three sons — one of whom is grown — jumped in with both feet. 'The reach of this show is so different and across the board. I didn't realize the scope of it, of how the fans are invested. I remember my friend texted me [during my first season]. She's like 'You're trending.' For what? I've done so many things, I've worked with incredible people in the industry,' the Haitian actor-producer told The Times in November. 'But it wasn't until this show that everything blew up.' That explosion has not been 100% unicorns and rainbows, of course. During the 2022 season, Jax, one of her twin teen sons, decided he was done with the spotlight and took a break. 'Middle-aged women spamming me with racist and crude comments about my family is not what I expected for my first week of high school,' he posted on his mother's Instagram account last August. Still, Beauvais has managed to be herself on 'RHOBH,' executive producer Andy Cohen told The Times in November. 'But also I really relate, as a viewer and as a parent, to what she shares about raising the boys,' he said. 'And in terms of a group dynamic, she is someone who absolutely does not break a sweat when sharing her feelings and opinions, and that is the hallmark of a great Housewife.' By the way, fans, Beauvais and Cohen appear to be parting ways on good terms. 'Andy says I can come back any time I want,' she said in Tuesday's video. 'The door will always be open.' Times staff writer Yvonne Villarreal contributed to this report.
