Emergency services were called to the scene, with paramedics having taken the victim to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary for treatment. Cops say the silver older-style SUV involved in the collision drove off. A man is in hospital after he was struck by an SUV in a hit-and-run in a Scots town.
