Celebrate St. Louis returns to downtown for Fourth of July without 141-year-old parade
ST. LOUIS — Celebrate Saint Louis is returning downtown this summer for the Fourth of July celebration on July 3 and July 4 but will not include the America's Birthday Parade. The Independence Day celebration will have live entertainment and family-friendly activities and wrap up with a fireworks show with the Gateway Arch as its backdrop. One major change to this year's events is the celebration will not include the America's Birthday Parade, breaking a 141-year-old tradition. The two-day event will also honor active-duty service members and veterans during a Salute the Troops ceremony. Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw coming to Kettering
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two pop artists are set to perform live in Kettering. Colbie Caillat will join Gavin DeGraw at 8 p.m. on June 7 for a performance at Fraze Pavilion. Caillat is best known for songs like 'Bubbly,' 'Lucky' and 'Try,' while DeGraw is most recognized for 'I Don't Want to Be,' 'Not Over You' and 'Chariot.'
