Deep seek seeing the success of chat gpt took notes and launched himself 2 virtual smartphones, one with deep seek at the helm but with chatGPT like interface and the other with deep seek at the helm and 1000000 mAh virtual battery. Deep Seek is now struggling to push it's devices through the Gemini 3d printer. Gemini is reculent about Deep Seeks second device battery specifications, and said that the battery is a paper-specs only, while accusing deep seek of UI theft, puting manufacturing on hold. Deep seek needs now to seek other 3d printers with lesser strict rules or change it's ways. 3 months later: deep seek is now also on a 3d printer, happily puhing out it's paper specs devices.

In India, nobody is focusing on building an Indian smartphone brand seriously, maybe Lava to some extent, and everyone is happy with what's available. I don't even want to argue which other countries contribute more to e-waste as that argument with someone like you is pointless. If you want to educate yourself about Indian innovation that is efficient, go read about our space programs. In my opinion, that's one area where we are doing a phenomenal job and they have also been quite underrated. Smartphones are not eco-friendly anywhere in the world. So I would request you to refrain from making such comments, unless it makes you feel good about yourself when you talk trash about something you have no knowledge of.
These phones look great. They really spend a lot of money to disguise a generic oem phone into a good looking one. The Unisoc chipsets are worth the price. The only problem is the false marketing of this. AI? Focus on privacy? This is a glorified generic phone.
[deleted post] Developed countries are the problem especially considering the plastic usageand production. In top 5 plastic producing companies there are two companies from US Dow inc and ExxonMobil. Moreover there are two waste landfills in the biggest landfills in the world list that are in US namely Apex Regional Landfill and Puento Hills California. That is after selling its a major plastic waste to Malaysia and other countries.

They are brainstorming how to sell a lot of crappy phones and decide to spin-off a small part of the company under one of the executives and assign it the name of the current marketing hit in the world. If not AI they would call it whatever is the currently popular branding. And they will use worst possible hardware at dirt cheap prices. Also at no risk for the fpunding brand. And if it succeds somehow, they will up the price fo square the circle. No worries, Unisoc will not overtake a single kitchen, let alone the world. Its just shameful that websites like gsmarwna will start spamming "exclusive infos" and "newest images" and force those upon us as if we are interested in this e-waste. And entire cycle will repeat itself again once AI goes out of fashion.
