Missing Binghamton man found dead
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Just days after he was reported missing, a Binghamton man was found deceased due to a medical condition.
On February 8, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Binghamton Police Department responded to the area of Burlington Street and Sherwood Avenue. It was reported that 89-year-old George Felton had been located unresponsive.
EMS responded to the scene and Felton was pronounced dead.
Felton was last seen around 9 p.m. on February 6 at his Spurr Avenue address.
89-year-old vulnerable Binghamton man reported missing
According to police, Felton had suffered from dementia. An autopsy was completed and revealed that his death is non-criminal in nature. Police say Felton's death is the result of a medical condition.
