Celebrities spotted in Wiltshire over the last six months
Celebrities may well be recognisable at their glitzy events, but how often would you expect to spot someone famous out and about in Swindon or across Wiltshire?
Well, over the last six months, there's been a few famous faces who have visited the county.
Runners in Swindon gathered for a weekly 5k race in Penhill, but very few expected to be joined by stars from their TV screens.
George Rainsford, best known for playing Ethan Hardy in Casualty and Jimmy Wilson in Call The Midwife, enlisted co-star Ross Telfer (known for playing Draig Bon Dhu in the hit Netflix show The Witcher) to join him at Seven Fields Parkrun on Saturday, February 15.
Amanda Holden stopped off for breakfast at a traditional Wiltshire pub during her gruelling five-day charity bike ride last October.
Her journey saw her travel through Wiltshire, where she happily posed with staff from The Bell Inn, in Great Cheverell near Devizes.
Harry Potter and Star Wars star Warwick Davis had a chance encounter during his visit to Swindon one weekend in December.
During a visit to Harper's Steakhouse on Sunday, December 1, Warwick was able to meet the mother of a young man who he had helped in the final days of his battle with cancer.
Sarah Kallmeier, mother of Miles Doughty who sadly passed away in 2022, was running a craft fayre stand for Utility Warehouse in the steakhouse when the actor walked in.

Oasis legend Liam Gallagher stunned customers and staff at Gloucester Services when he popped in for a coffee break on October 24.
Dressed for the autumn weather in a black Berghaus waterproof jacket, he posed for a picture with delighted member of staff Harry Furniss.
In recent weeks, members of the Royal Family were seen at the Cheltenham Festival, just 45 minutes from Swindon.
Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall were present, alongside Andrew Parker Bowles, former Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha and MP Nigel Farage.
Other celebrities in attendance were Jeremy Clarkson, Harry Redknapp, Mary Berry, Jilly Cooper and Will Mellor.
