The big visit month of June is upon us, so before all the chaos ensues, Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney takes a look at the top five uncommitted prospects at each position. We move to the defensive line. THIS SERIES: Commitment predictions for top QBs | Predictions for top RBs | Predictions for top WRs | Predictions for top TEs | Predictions for top OL CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info With a July 10 commitment date scheduled, Carlton might already know his destination as Texas A&M has the edge in his recruitment now. But things could definitely change especially in the closing weeks. Advertisement The Temple, Texas, four-star edge rusher is at LSU this weekend and if there is a dark horse in his recruitment, it could be the Tigers. Let's see how his time in Baton Rouge goes. And if Texas really puts the hammer down working for his commitment, the Longhorns could sway him as well. But right now, the Aggies lead and they might not relinquish it. Prediction: Texas A&M Geralds starts his visits at LSU this weekend and he's always been highly intrigued by the Tigers and his opportunity there along the defensive line. He will also see Ole Miss (where his father played), Oregon and he will close out his trips with Ohio State. Advertisement It's still very much believed that the Buckeyes hold a strong lead for the Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill standout and getting coached up by legend Larry Johnson is playing a big role there. It will be interesting if Geralds leans more to the schools closer to home as his decision nears but right now the Buckeyes are out front. Prediction: Ohio State The five-star edge rusher will be at Miami this weekend and the Hurricanes always offer a compelling case for top recruits, but they have some work to do to catch up with Alabama. The Crimson Tide still lead for the Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's standout but it won't be easy down the stretch as Jones recently took a visit to Auburn that went better than expected. Oregon, among others, isn't giving up, either. Advertisement Things could change after his Miami visit but the Crimson Tide have the edge. Prediction: Alabama The four-star edge rusher from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy loved his visit to Colorado and all the NFL coaching talent there, but the Buffaloes still seem like a stretch. Oklahoma still has the edge in his recruitment but Florida is coming on strong and the Gators could make a big move this month. Ohio State and Texas round out his other top teams. There could be a surprise here, but if things stay status quo, the Sooners could be the winner. Prediction: Oklahoma The five-star defensive end from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon was committed to Oregon for less than three weeks as he loves the Ducks but didn't inform those close to him back home before committing, so his recruitment was opened back up. Advertisement Oregon remains in a very strong spot for Wesley as it's been a frontrunner since early in his recruitment, and he'll be back in Eugene on June 6. He will also see Texas, Ohio State and Texas A&M before a decision but the Ducks remain in a great spot. Prediction: Oregon

Prized four-star recruit locks in official visit with LSU football

Prized four-star recruit locks in official visit with LSU football On3's Steve Wiltfong reported Wednesday that four-star defensive lineman Deuce Geralds will visit LSU as one of four scheduled official visits over the next month. The 2026 prospect heads to Baton Rouge on May 30 before visits to Ole Miss, Oregon, and Ohio State. The Suwanee, GA native ranks as the state's No. 9 prospect and No. 6 at his position, according to On3's Industry Rankings. Per the On3 Prediction Machine, Ohio State is the favorite to land Gerlads with a 79.1% chance. Ole Miss is also in contention, but LSU isn't out of the race yet. Geralds would be the second commit at defensive line alongside five-star Richard Anderson in LSU's 2026 group. With a retooled defensive front under Blake Baker, LSU provides an experienced lineup that Geralds would develop under before making a major impact himself. More on LSU football's 2026 recruiting class LSU football's 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 1 in college football, ahead of USC at No. 2 and Ohio State at No. 3. The class is headlined by five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys and five-star defensive lineman Richard Anderson. LSU has nine commits with an average recruit rating of 93.16, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Eight of LSU's nine commits are blue-chip players.
