ITV I'm A Celebrity star reveals why he's turned down TV dating shows A former I'm A Me Out of Here! star has opened up about his love life and why he's not looking for love on dating shows Radio personality and former I'm A Me Out of Here! campemate Toby Anstis has recently divulged why he opts out of dating shows. During his guest appearance on the Suddenly Single podcast with Siobhan Wykes and Tim Vincent, the Heart Breakfast presenter was candid about his personal life. Toby shared his reasons for declining to participate in televised dating games, attributing his decision to his own journey through therapy and comfort with being single. Expressing his contentment, he remarked: "I feel very grateful and happy in life. I don't have to be in a relationship," reports the Express. The I'm A Celeb star spoke about his love life (Image: (Image: Global) ) "I've done a lot of therapy, a lot of work on myself, so I feel like I'm in a good place so I wouldn't want to throw my vulnerability out there on a dating show. To be filmed going through all of that... you don't have to do that on an app." Article continues below On the subject of online dating, he recounted amusing encounters with sceptical users who doubted the authenticity of his profiles. "People say 'you're a catfish, I hope Toby knows you've nicked his photos'," he laughed. The star revealed that he's content being single (Image: (Image: Ian Vogler/Daily Mirror) ) With a perspective that people of all professions should be entitled to search for companionship without judgement, Toby added: "It doesn't matter what you do for a living, we are all entitled to try and find an amazing person. We're all allowed to be out there, it doesn't matter whether you're a nurse or a presenter. People shouldn't feel objectionable to people who have a profile, saying 'what are you doing trying to get a date on here.'" Further into the interview, Toby spoke about the speculation surrounding a potential romantic link with Priscilla Presley in 2013. He made it clear they were just casual acquaintances who shared a "friendly dinner" after Warwick Davis introduced them. Explaining the surreal nature of their meeting, he commented: "The incredible thing was sitting with Priscilla and her talking to us about Elvis and their life in Graceland. I had a bit of an out of body experience – I'm with Priscilla and she's talking about The King. I count myself lucky to have met her as she's a charming, lovely woman, but that was that."
