Paul Finebaum added, 'North Carolina hired him because he's a great coach, not to be a distraction. He's a major distraction right now in this game of football.'
While the University of North Carolina has remained silent amidst the mess, Bill Belichick has often stood up for his relationship and defended his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, amid all the criticism she has faced.

A few weeks after the infamous CBS interview clip with Tony Dokoupil, where Jordon Hudson interjected when Bill Belichick was asked a question about his relationship, the Patriots' legend appeared on Michael Strahan's Good Morning America to make things clear.
Bill Belichick defined how his girlfriend, 24 year old Jordon Hudson, helps him out in his work and said, "She does the business things that don't relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football..."
Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, has also spoken about their relationship but it has fallen on deaf ears as the controversial couple continues to get trolled.
Apart from the controversies surrounding Bill Belichick's relationship, the two have actually maintained a pretty peaceful relationship and have never been spotted getting into an argument with each other.
