Player of the Game: Warren JFK's Gianna Pompelia
MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren JFK junior Gianna Pompelia was named Player of the Game for her efforts in the Eagles' 60-43 win over Middlefield Cardinal on Saturday afternoon in the Division VII District Championship game.
The game was televised live as the WKBN High School Basketball Game of the Week.
Following the victory, Pompelia spoke with Chad Krispinsky.

Pompelia piled up a game-high 43 points in the victory. In addition, she also reached a career milestone, scoring her 1,000th career point on Saturday.
With the win, Warren JFK secures the first district title in program history.
