Arrest made in fatal Gibson County crash

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Gibson County Sheriff's Office says an arrest has been made in a fatal crash from back in January. Officials state deputies went to the 4800 block of North 200 West in rural Patoka to serve an arrest warrant on 41-year-old Justin Hill. Second teen arrested for Lodge Avenue murder Officials say Hill was involved in a crash on January 24 where he was driving a red Cadillac CTS when he allegedly failed to yield the right of way when crossing US 41 at Old US Highway 41. This caused a crash with a Ford Escape that was going south on US 41. Officials also say each driver was submitted to a chemical test where Hill's test indicated he was under the influence of methamphetamines. Woman booked for allegedly driving 106 MPH in Gibson County

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A Bloomington woman is facing charges in Gibson County for allegedly driving 106 MPH on I-69. According to the Gibson County Sheriff's Office, a sergeant conducted a traffic stop on a black 2024 Chevrolet Malibu after clocking it going 106 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. The driver was identified as 21-year-old Carissa Moore. She was detained following a brief investigation and taken to the Gibson County Jail. She was charged with reckless driving. Deputies arrest Evansville man for allegedly driving 100 MPH while drunk

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man was arrested by Gibson County deputies for allegedly driving at triple digit speeds while drunk. According to the Gibson County Sheriff's Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop early Sunday morning at 1:56 a.m. on a red 2019 Dodge Charger for driving over 100 MPH on US 41 near Steelman Chapel Road. The driver was identified as 34-year-old Dominik Major. Officials state the deputy could smell an odor of alcohol from Major and began conducting a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion, Major was taken into custody and taken to the Gibson County Jail. He was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated/Refusal (Prior) and Reckless Driving.
