Hyatt's Gild Hall- a Thompson Hotel, located in Lower Manhattan's Financial District, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Blose as its new General Manager as of April 14th, 2025. A hospitality industry veteran with over 17 years of experience across the Hyatt portfolio, Blose brings a dynamic leadership style, deep operational expertise, and a passion for cultivating exceptional guest experiences. Blose began his career in hospitality in high school, working as a convention setup houseman at a Four Points Sheraton in Pittsburgh. He credits his mother — and a bit of fate — for setting him on his career path. As a proud third-generation Penn State graduate with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, Blose has spent nearly two decades honing his skills in diverse markets across the United States like Boston, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and New York. His time across properties ranging from boutique lifestyle hotels to large-scale, 1,600+ room operations has shaped his collaborative, team-focused leadership style. Joining Gild Hall marks a major milestone for Blose: becoming a General Manager before he turns 40. Under his leadership, Blose plans to build on the hotel's boutique charm, blending the building's Gilded Age aesthetic with a fresh, cool energy that guests can feel the second they step into the lobby. Blose's approach to operational excellence is grounded in empathy and first-hand experience. Outside of work, Blose shares a busy life with his wife, Elizabeth, who also works in hospitality, their one-year-old son, Liam, and their two dogs, Harley and Winston (who are really looking forward to working alongside Gild's very own dog concierge - Maya.) Fueled by their love of food, they can't wait to explore New York City's vibrant culinary and hospitality scene and experience the city's unforgettable magic. As he looks ahead, Blose is excited not only to lead, but to continue learning and becoming a positive impact to the team.

With an impressive career spanning four continents and a passion for people-first leadership, Marshneil is known for her curiosity, persistence, and heartfelt approach to hospitality. Her passion for travel and cultural immersion has shaped her worldview and leadership style. A nearly 20-year Hyatt veteran, Marshneil brings a wealth of global experience and thoughtful hospitality to the heart of Manhattan, where she has called home since 2022. Her career has taken her from guest relations and boutique consulting roles at The Oberoi Raj Vilas and Le Meridien hotels to Rooms experience at Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt Dubai to Hyatt's largest Grand-branded property, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas. Marshneil' s journey brought her Stateside in 2022 when she moved to New York City to join the lifestyle portfolio as Hotel Manager at Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel. Her leadership and strategic focus quickly earned her a promotion to General Manager in August 2023, where she led the hotel to notable success and operational excellence. In her new role as General Manager at Andaz 5th Avenue, Marshneil will lead all hotel operations, oversee strategic planning and guest experience initiatives, and drive continued growth for the iconic Midtown property. Honing in on the core brand pillars of Andaz that revolve around empowering self-expression and celebrating individuality through unique, experiential travel, Marshneil will aid in spearheading an ongoing refresh of hotel programming and partnerships. She will focus on elevating the brand's distinctively local spirit, nurturing a vibrant team culture, and delivering immersive, personalized experiences that capture the dynamic energy of New York City.
