Beloved NY high school band leader remembered in musical composition
NEW YORK (PIX11) – This Saturday night, more than 100 musicians will gather to remember Gina Pellettiere, the Farmingdale High School band leader who tragically lost her life in an upstate bus crash in September 2023.
Current Hofstra undergrads will join those who graduated with her back in 2006 to perform 'Eternal Trailblazer,' a musical composition specifically created in her memory celebrating her love of music and teaching.
