A high school has banned Run It Straight tackle games on its grounds, denouncing them as nothing more than Boys' High School told its 820 students about the ban on Monday, just hours before the life support was turned off for 19-year-old Ryan Satterthwaite, who died from a head injury suffered in a game in Palmerston North at the weekend. Ryan's family today called for top sports stars to step up and warn of the risks involved. But as Jimmy Ellingham reports, it's an invitation not all are taking up.
