King Charles Steps Out with Surprising Date Just One Day After Prince William Does the Same
King Charles has had a packed schedule lately—from military engagements to traditional ceremonies, he's been all over the place this week. And while he attended most of these events solo, there was one appearance that caught a little extra attention—not just for the flowers, but for his surprising royal companion. Spoiler: it wasn't Queen Camilla.
On June 7, King Charles stepped out for the Royal Windsor Flower Show at Windsor Great Park and joining him for the outing was none other than Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh—his sister-in-law. The pair looked cheerful and relaxed as they mingled with attendees and admired the floral displays.
Buckingham Palace shared a few snaps from the event, showing the King looking polished in a classic grey suit with a cream tie and crisp white shirt. Duchess Sophie, meanwhile, brought a welcome pop of color in a blue floral dress, paired with a navy blazer and a variation of her go-to wedge heels.
The palace captioned the photos: 'The King, as Patron, and The Duchess of Edinburgh were at the Royal Windsor Flower Show. The theme for this year's show, held at Windsor Great Park, is 'Patterns in Nature,' inspired by His Majesty's book Harmony: A New Way of Looking at Our World.'
This actually marked Sophie's second surprise royal pairing of the week. Just one day earlier, on June 6, she was spotted she was spotted accompanying Prince William at the Royal Cornwall Show.
And once again, her outfit quietly stole the show: a blush pink Vince silk blouse, a luxe toffee suede skirt by Paige and knee-high leather boots. She finished the look with a green velvet Sophie Habsburg handbag and gold Giulabarella hoops—perfectly blending countryside chic with royal elegance.
Sophie's been everywhere lately—and I'm kind of loving this new royal duo energy.
