Actress Lucy Fallon, famed for her role as Bethany Platt, hasn't been seen in the ITV soap for some time, after taking time off on maternity leave. Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon, famed for her role as Bethany Platt, has flaunted a gorgeous hair transformation. In an exciting update for fans, her future on the Cobbles has also been confirmed. The actress has been taking a break from the ITV soap as she's currently on maternity leave. Lucy, 29, welcomed her second child back in January with footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson. The couple were overjoyed to share the arrival of their daughter Nancy, with their new bundle of joy coming after they welcomed their son, Sonny, back in 2023. The new mum-of-two has since shared a number of sweet updates on social media as she basks in her baby bubble as well as enjoying her time away from the Street. In delightful news to fans, it has been confirmed she will be back, reports the Manchester Evening News. When it was revealed Lucy has signed with the talent agency Off Limits, there were reports she had decided to quit the soap altogether. However, a Coronation Street spokesperson has since confirmed to the Metro that "Lucy will be returning to filming in the summer after maternity leave, as always planned", and that "Bethany will be back on screen in October". Meanwhile, Lucy is making the most of her maternity leave with her two little ones and has been sharing what else she's been up to while she's not playing her Weatherfield alter-ego. In one of her latest posts, the Blackpool-born star shared a picture of her gorgeous hair transformation as she headed to the salon amid the current spring heatwave. Her hairdresser, Megan Whittaker, also shared a number of snaps in which Lucy posed to showcase her new do. Captioning the post, she revealed Lucy's hair secret by saying: "Beauty Works X Molly Mae. New summer shades 'Glacier Blonde' 18inch slimline tapes Colour @lorealpro #studio9 & #dialight 10.12 & 9.01." And the compliments quickly came flooding in as one fan said: "Unreal colour." Another commented: "Obsessing over this colour & blend wow." Someone else wrote: "Gorgeous." @xjeankellyx added: "Stunning." It comes after Lucy was seen showing her support for her footballer partner as he made a huge decision on his playing career. She took to social media earlier this month to reshare his news. The Preston North End midfielder confirmed that he is set to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June. The 27-year-old joined the Championship side from Oxford in May 2018 and scored seven goals in 215 games. "I've had the best seven years that I could have asked for. "This club means so much to me," he told the club website. "I'm glad my last game for the club went as well as it did and I could have that moment with the fans at the end." Alongside the post Lucy reshared with her own following, Ryan said: "Thank you for everything @pnefcofficial To all the staff, fans and the lads, I wish all of you nothing but the best for the future. Up the Lilywhites." The soap star then went on to share a video of Ryan playing in the garden with their two-year-old son, giving a sweet glimpse into their happy family life together.

Molly-Mae Hague 'signs seven figure deal' with brand ahead of reality show return
Molly-Mae Hague is said to have signed a seven-figure deal with a brand that she's worked with over the years ahead of the release of the second part of Prime Video's Behind It All Reality TV star Molly-Mae Hague has reportedly landed a seven-figure deal with a brand. The news this week comes just days ahead of the former Love Island finalist releasing the second part of her docuseries Molly-Mae: Behind It All. Molly-Mae, 25, is said to have extended her partnership with Beauty Works after signing a "huge new contract". She was named an ambassador for the haircare brand in 2019 and has continued to work with the company in the years since then, including having released her own range of products. According to the Sun, she's now signed a new contract with Beauty Works as she continues to grow her "huge fortune". A source told the outlet that it's a "sentimental" partnership, with the brand having been one of the first to collaborate with Molly-Mae after she appeared on Love Island in 2019. The source said: "Molly's signed a huge new contract with Beautyworks and will be launching things throughout 2025. They were one of her first brand partnerships so it's really sentimental for her. She loves the owners, Penny and Martin, and they're good friends of Molly's now." Molly-Mae has released several products through the brand, including her own line of hair extensions. She announced two new shades for her range in a post on Instagram last week, in which she reflected on the brand partnership. Alongside a photo of herself, she wrote: "The secret behind the blonde ... finally I can say that 'Glacier Blonde' & 'Swiss Blonde' by me are now LIVE!!!" She then tagged Beauty Works' account before continuing the caption. She added: "I can't believe I now have THREE hair shades of my own." Beside a crying emoji, Molly-Mae concluded by writing in the message to her followers: "Shop the Molly-Mae Blonde Collection online now [heart emoji] ad." The reports that Molly-Mae has extended her partnership with Beauty Works comes ahead of the content creator releasing the second part of her Prime Video docuseries. Behind It All debuted with its first three episodes in January. The remaining three episodes will be released on May 9. Ahead of their release next Friday, the streaming platform recently shared a trailer for the second part of the series, which promises to take viewers "beyond the headlines". The trailer was shared by Molly-Mae, whose relationship with Tommy Fury is discussed on the show, on social media. She teased in the caption on Instagram: "We're back ... May 9th." Molly-Mae confirmed the release date for the remaining three episodes in a post last month. She also announced in the same post that filming had concluded on the first season of the show, which had launched on January 17. Alongside a photo of her taken during production, she wrote at the time: "Season 1 WRAPPED!!! See you on May 9th for our next three episodes of Molly-Mae: Behind It All." She tagged Prime Video and also posted a white heart emoji.

Molly-Mae 'finally' shares her latest hair venture she's been covertly 'teasing for months'
Molly-Mae teases, "Finally, I can share the secret behind the blonde...." Earlier this month, Molly-Mae Hague had us all rushing to book salon appointments after sharing a series of selfies showing off a brand new 'buttermilk' blonde hair colour. What we didn't know at the time was that the star was secretly showing us a new hair project she's been working on. "Finally, I can share the secret behind the blonde...." Molly-Mae shares in a series of new snaps posted to her Instagram, before following up with her 'exciting' news. This week, the 25 year old has teamed up once more with hair extension pros Beauty Works to launch two new shades of blonde extensions to give fans her exact hair colour. "I feel like I've been that annoying person who has been teasing something new in regards to hair for ages," she says. "I've been saying something new is coming for months, and finally, I can tell you what that new thing is. Excitedly, I am bringing out two new hair shades with Beauty Works. "I had my original shade, shade Molly-Mae, and you guys loved that one so much, and it did so well. So now I have three shades out with Beauty Works, which is so exciting. I really wanted to bring out a highlight and a lowlight because it's the colours I have in my hair right now. We have a shade Glacier Blonde and a Swiss Blonde. Glacier is the lightest shade in my range, and it's like a gorgeous creamy platinum blonde. Swiss Blonde looks a little dark, but it breaks up the lighter blonde and makes it look more natural." Shop Molly-Mae's new Beauty Works blonde shades Glacier Blonde extensions from £160 Expanding on the new launch, the mum-of-one continues: "They've both created my favourite blonde I've ever had – I've never been happier with my colour. The new shades will be available in all extension methods: tapes, bonds, wefts and clip-ins." If you're wondering what Molly-Mae's choice of hair is, she says: "I have bonds. I love bonds, I'm just such a bond extension girly." And if you're keen to order a few packs for yourself, it's worth noting that apart from the wefts and clip-ins, you'll need to head to a professional to have the hair fitted. The price will vary from salon to salon, but bonds are usually more expensive to have applied than tapes, since they take longer to fit. Tapes, on the other hand, are quick to fit but aren't quite as invisible at the root as bonds. Care for your hair extensions Our head of beauty Zoe shares her expert-advised products to keep your hair soft, silky and tangle-free L'Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Shampoo, £19.99 This helps to protect hair from excess copper deposited from water, which can cause damage and impact colour results. It cleanses my scalp but leaves my ends soft and manageable. I promise it's worth the price tag. Use it every week or so to make your colour really last. I'm an Olaplex girl through and through, and I never go a week without using something from the brand's styling range. I love this oil for running through my hair once it's styled. It really helps to keep my long extensions tangle-free and nourished. Wet Brush Paddle Detangler, £6.49 I swear by my Wet Brush for helping me to get the knots out of my hair without pulling at the extensions. I leave my hair to dry a little before I do a first smooth over with the brush, and then once it's fully dry, I brush my strands through fully. Since swapping to this brush, I've noticed much less shedding.
