Dubai Lynx reveals the Film category shortlist for 2025 awards
Dubai Lynx, MENA's leading platform for creative excellence and effectiveness, has announced the highly anticipated shortlist for the 2025 Film Lynx Award. The Film Lynx celebrates exceptional creativity in the moving image. The shortlist for the Dubai Lynx Film and Film Craft categories are now available exclusively on Dubai Lynx's The Work section. The Film category witnessed 117 entries. From this, 22 pieces of work from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE will now compete to be awarded MENA's most prestigious creative communications accolade. BBDO Worldwide's Chief Creative Officer Chris Beresford-Hill lead the 2025 jury for the Film category as jury president. Shortlists to the Film Craft category have also been revealed, featuring 30 shortlists from 126 entries. Serviceplan Group's Head of Production Services Aisha Blackwell lead the 2025 jury for this category as jury president. The Entertainment, Glass: The Award for Change, Healthcare and Integrated shortlists will be announced tomorrow, Wednesday 9 April, 9am GST. Winners will be announced at the Dubai Lynx Awards Ceremony taking place Wednesday 9 April at the Emirates Golf Club. The following Lynx Awards shortlists are now live on The Work: Audio & Radio, Brand Experience & Activation, Creative Commerce, Creative Effectiveness, Creative Strategy, Design, Digital Craft, Direct, Film, Film Craft, Industry Craft Media, Outdoor, PR, Print & Publishing and Social & Influencer.

Dubai Lynx, MENA's leading platform for creative excellence and effectiveness, has revealed its first round of shortlists for the 2025 Awards. The Work shortlists recognise outstanding creativity and innovation across multiple categories. All shortlisted pieces of work will now compete to be awarded MENA's most prestigious creative communications accolade. Winners will be announced at the Dubai Lynx Awards Ceremony taking place at the Emirates Golf Club on Wednesday, 9 April, bringing together the industry to celebrate the region's outstanding achievements. The 2025 Awards has seen a remarkable surge in brand participation, with entries from brands up by 122 per cent year-on-year, reflecting the region's growing creative ambitions. The newly introduced 'Use of Humour' category saw 3 per cent of all entries submitted, highlighting a renewed appetite for humour and levity across the region.
