One of Glen Rogers' victims was a Louisiana woman. The serial killer has now been executed
Glen Rogers, a serial killer known as the "Casanova Killer," was executed by lethal injection in Florida on Thursday, May 15. Rogers received the death penalty for the murder of 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs in Florida, however, she was not his only victim. Rogers was also referred to as the "Cross Country Killer," as all of his victims lived in different states, including California, Mississippi, Louisiana, as well as Florida. In 1995, Rogers traveled to Louisiana, where he met Andy Lou Jiles Sutton, a 37-year old mother of four who was described as "a very beautiful redhead" and having an outgoing personality. Authorities believe that Rogers met Sutton at the It'll Do Lounge in Bossier City. On Nov. 9, 1995, Sutton was found stabbed to death in her bed. Rogers was prosecuted for murders in California and Florida, but did not go to trail in Mississippi or Louisiana because he was already facing a death penalty in Florida. Mark Peters: 72-year-old retired electrician, whom Rogers lived with briefly, who was found dead in shack in Jan. 1994 in Beattyville, Kentucky. Sandra Gallagher: 33-year-old mother of three who was killed on Sept. 28, 1994 in Van Nuys, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. Gallagher met Rogers in a bar the night of her murder and was later found burning in her vehicle. Linda Price: 34-year-old mother of two who was found stabbed to death in the bathtub of her home in Jackson, Mississippi, on Nov. 3, 1995. Price briefly lived with Rogers. Tina Marie Cribbs: 34-year-old mother of two who was found stabbed to death in a Tampa hotel bathtub on Nov. 7, 1995. Cribbs also met Rogers at a bar on the night of her murder. Andy Lou Jiles Sutton: 37-year-old mother of four who was found stabbed to death in her bed on Nov. 9, 1995 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Rogers lay still as the injection began, with only his mouth slightly open. He made no further movements. MURDER SPREE Rogers was tied to five victims across four states - Tina Marie Cribbs, Sandra Gallagher, Mark Peters, Linda Price, and Andy Lou Jiles Sutton. Four were red-haired single mothers in their 30s. Tina Marie Cribbs, a 34-year-old mother of two, had met Rogers at a bar in Tampa shortly before her death. She was found stabbed in a motel room and Rogers was caught days later in Kentucky driving her vehicle after a car chase. Rogers gained wider attention after a 2012 documentary, My Brother the Serial Killer, raised questions about his possible involvement in the 1994 stabbing deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Rogers, 62, a self-proclaimed serial killer who once told a law enforcement official he had killed 70 women, will be put to death on Thursday by lethal injection. Rogers was dubbed the 'Casanova Killer' because he had a habit of meeting women in local bars, charming them and getting them into his car before attacking. Here is a timeline of Rogers' murder spree: Rogers sentenced for 1994 death of Tina Marie Cribbs A jury sentenced Rogers to death back in 1997 after convicting him of first-degree murder, armed robbery and grand theft of a motor vehicle following the death of 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs, People reported. Rogers attempted to overturn his guilty verdict three times, but was unsuccessful. According to a motion filed by the prosecution, Rogers met Cribbs at a bar in Tampa and convinced her to drive him home. She told her friends she would return in 15 minutes, but never returned. Cribbs, a mother of two, failed to meet her mum that evening or show up for work the next morning, according to the motion obtained by People. Her lifeless body was discovered a few days later in a Tampa motel room rented by Rogers, according to the motion. 'Cribbs was found lying on her back in the bathtub. She was clothed, wearing a damp T-shirt, underwear, and socks. On the bathroom floor, authorities found a damp pile of clothes and bloodstained towels,' the motion reads. Authorities noted Cribbs had been stabbed to death, but that there was evidence of defensive wounds, the motion reads. They also noted that a ring and watch belonging to Cribbs were missing, along with her car, which Rogers was driving a week later when he was arrested in Kentucky, according to the motion. Rogers received second death sentence for 1999 murder of Sandra Gallagher Rogers received another death sentence in California in 1999 for the murder of Sandra Gallagher. According to The Associated Press, he met her at a Van Nuys bar in September 1995 and a day later, her badly burned corpse was found in her truck near Rogers' apartment. According to the outlet, Rogers' death now marks the fifth execution in Florida so far this year.

A man nicknamed the 'Casanova Killer,' who was linked to OJ Simpson 's murder trial, used his last seconds on Earth to send a message to President Donald Trump. Glen Rogers, 62, was executed in Florida Thursday for the violent murder of 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs, who was found dead in a Tampa hotel bathtub after the two met at a local bar. In his final statement, Rogers thanked his wife and addressed Trump: 'President Trump, keep making America great. I'm ready to go.' Moments after his praise for Trump, authorities issued the lethal injection, a deadly combination of a sedative, paralytic, and a drug that stops the heart. Simpson connection A 2012 documentary titled, My Brother the Serial Killer, explored the possibility of a connection between Rogers and the dramatic deaths of Goldman and Simpson. The documentary featured Rogers' brother, Clay, and a criminal profiler named Anthony Meoli, who peddled the theory that Simpson hired Rogers to kill Brown. Meoli had visited Rogers on death row and wrote numerous letters to him, revealing in the film, 'Glen told me that OJ's instructions were that "You may have to kill the b**ch,'' referring to his ex-wife. Clay also backed up the theory, revealing in the documentary that his brother called him in 1994 and said he had partied with Brown. The two theorized that Simpson had paid Rogers to murder Brown after Rogers was hired to paint his home. Clay claimed in the documentary that his brother told him he even took a gold angel pin off of Brown's body and gave it to their mother. Authorities have continued to dispute the claims that arose in My Brother the Serial Killer, and Goldman's family has denounced the documentary. She was married and had two sons. Gallagher had spoken to her husband to tell him she was staying later to sing with the band. She then agreed to give Rogers a ride and was found strangled in her burning truck the next morning. Gallagher had two sons. Her sister, Jerri Vallicella, spoke to USA Today about her kind-hearted nature. Vallicella said her sister loved buying flowers and giving them to random strangers to brighten their days. In 2013, Rogers was convicted and sentenced to death in a criminal trial in California for Gallagher's murder. Violent killing spree Although Rogers was only convicted of two murders, investigators believe that he was responsible for killing multiple other people. Rogers was connected to the death of another woman in Mississippi named Linda Price. Price was found stabbed to death in her bathtub on November 3, 1995, just after Gallagher was killed. Lastly, Rogers was believed to have killed a 72-year-old retired veteran named Mark Peters, who was found dead in a Kentucky shack owned by Rogers' family in January 1994. Excluding Peters, Rogers' victims were often young, petite women with red hair. Most of them were also mothers and were found dead with stab wounds. After years on death row, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the killer's death warrant on Tuesday. Rogers' lawyer filed multiple appeals, including one in 2021 that detailed evidence of sexual abuse he endured at a juvenile detention facility as a child, which were rejected by the court. His brother, Claude, told the Tampa Bay Times that he visited him on Wednesday to say goodbye. 'I said my goodbyes to him. He's my brother and I love him. I asked God to guide him on this next journey,' he told the outlet.
