Earlier this month she revealed she's desperate to have children - but admitted the gruelling demands of her showbiz career are delaying her dreams of becoming a mum. The star, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy last year, revealed that time spent with her nieces and nephews over Christmas triggered serious baby fever. Dianne told The Sun: 'I would like to have children, 100 per cent. 'Joe and I love kids, and that's definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven't really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.' The couple, who live in a £3.5million home in Brighton, have been flooded with baby chat recently, but say their hectic schedules are the biggest hurdle. Dianne is currently preparing to hit the road for a 30-date UK tour with fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola, while also promoting a new podcast with 2023 partner Chris McCausland. She said: 'My job is quite demanding and I love it so much. 'It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we'll get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it's supposed to.' It has been a successful year for Dianne who won a TV BAFTA this month alongside her Strictly partner from last year Chris. She was paired with the comedian , 47, who lost his sight at the age of 22 due to genetic condition retinitis pigmentosa, on last year's series and now they have a Best TV Moment BAFTA to their names. The show won Best TV Moment for McCausland's moving 'blackout' waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone - choreographed to highlight his visual impairment and echo a similar routine performed by deaf contestant Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2021. While the comic was absent, a triumphant Dianne was on hand to personally accept the award and show it off backstage in the winners room. Strictly earned the accolade after beating pivotal scenes from Bridgerton, Gavin & Stacey, Mr. Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals and The Traitors to the award. Australian dancer Dianne was accompanied by her long-term boyfriend and former Strictly Come Dancing partner Joe as they greeted photographers on the red carpet earlier that night.

The 36-year-old dancer returns to the BBC show this year as defending champion after winning the competition with comedian Chris McCausland in 2024 and admits that the sequins have lost none of their appeal to her. ‌ Dianne told Heat: "This will be my ninth year and I still love it. I get butterflies every time I go back. It's like going back for a new year at school, except I feel like I'm still in primary school. ‌ "While I still have that feeling, it would be a shame to say I didn't want to do it anymore. I always said if that feeling ever changed, it would only be right to step aside and let someone else have a turn to feel that." Dianne was given a smaller replica of the Glitterball Trophy after her victory and revealed that she keeps the prize in her office as a source of "inspiration". The Australian dancer said: "I keep mine in my office. When I'm working on something difficult, it gives me a boost of energy and inspiration. It reminds me that if you keep going long and hard enough, it might result in something very magical." Article continues below Dianne said that her victory with Chris - who was the first blind contestant to compete on the Saturday night favourite – was particularly sweet as she had reached the final twice previously without winning. She said: "I was so used to clapping for someone else, it felt quite surreal. It was a special moment. I'm so glad I got the chance to do that with Chris." Dianne started dating her boyfriend, YouTuber Joe Sugg, after the pair were partners on 'Strictly' in 2018 and revealed that they still sometimes dance together. ‌ The star said: "It does happen! Joe loves ballroom. He's very old school, so he'll start doing a waltz with me. I love it, because he tries to lead me and he's still very good. "He goes into proper 'Strictly' mode – he instantly puts his head up to the left and his arms go really high. He's probably got better posture than me." Dianne and Joe have been together for seven years now and the dancer explained that neither of them takes life too seriously. Article continues below Asked for the secret to their relationship, she said: "Having fun. Both of us don't take ourselves overly seriously. Having a laugh with each other keeps things fresh and happy. That's key in our relationship, for sure."

Rose Ayling-Ellis addresses ‘mental' Strictly experience and real reason she signed up

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Rose Ayling-Ellis has shared the honest truth about why she signed up for her "mental" and "demanding" experience on Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Giovanni Pernice. In an episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, the Strictly winner opened up about the adversity she's faced on the road to success, having recently landed the lead role in ITV's 'Code of Silence'. Rose, who became the first deaf contestant to lift the Glitterball Trophy, has appeared in everything from EastEnders to The One Show. However, she admitted that her time on the dance floor was very intense. During the conversation, host Josh asked whether she'd ever felt "fed up" with trying to prove herself. Rose revealed that she did and continues to do so, highlighting how her latest gig was her first action role. (Image: BAFTA via Getty Images) She explained that when she first joined EastEnders, she only landed a two-week contract, but because she was determined to prove herself, she later secured an extension lasting six months. Rose shared some of the difficult scenarios she faced as she set out in her career. One occurred when she was working on a play in a theatre and was given "just one job." She also said she wasn't trained on the tills in a previous supermarket job. She admitted: "It's always other people making decisions on me. And the thing is, no one's being malicious, no one's being horrible, no one's being mean or anything. It's more like they think they're being helpful by giving me less and not giving me something that's too much for me. "I'm like, 'No, I want to'. That's why I really, like, wanted to do Strictly, which is a lot, and it's mental, and it demands, but I felt like, if I can do that, then the people will realise, 'Oh, she can do a lot more'." Rose previously shared her thoughts about her experience on the BBC show while speaking to Russell Howard on the Five Brilliant Things podcast, describing it as a "blur". (Image: Dave) When Rose and her dance partner Giovanni reached the final, they performed a rendition of their Couple's Choice dance, which featured a silent 20-second segment to honour the deaf community. Later, they secured the Virgin Media Must-See Moment accolade at the 2022 BAFTA TV Awards, but this wouldn't be Rose's only trailblazing TV moment. She was also Channel 4's first deaf live sports presenter at the Paralympics. Talking to she shared her gratitude for landing an opportunity to represent the deaf community on TV, saying: "EastEnders needs to have good credit for [deaf representation], because they actually hired me onto the show to become a regular, full-time. Not many other programmes have done that, so thank you so much to EastEnders for that."

Dianne Buswell addresses 'emotional rollercoaster' as she 'clicks' with Strictly co-star

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Dianne Buswell has opened up about an "emotional rollercoaster" she's about to present to the world alongside her Strictly co-star. The Aussie dancer, 36, has enjoyed a fair bit of success of late, having scooped the coveted Glitterball Trophy with Chris McCausland last year, before winning a BAFTA TV Award for their Waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone. Since then, the Strictly Come Dancing professional has been gearing up for a new dance project, the 'Red Hot and Ready' tour, with another familiar face from the beloved BBC competition. Set to launch next month, Dianne said she's "so excited" about the show, which has been "two years in the making." To cap things off, she's also shared insights into the dynamic she has with her co-star on the tour, Vito Coppola. (Image: BBC) Dianne told Heat magazine: "There's things in there that you'd never see us do on Strictly, I'll put it that way! It's an emotional rollercoaster. We want people to laugh and cry with us." (sic) She continued: "From day one, Vito and I just clicked. He reminded me a lot of my Italian mum's family with his personality, his mindset and the things he would say. He could literally be my crazy cousin!" Dianne added that it was a "no-brainer" for them to embark on this project together, highlighting the "camaraderie" they share. However, it isn't the only new gig for the dancer, as Dianne has also returned to Australia to work on the kids' show Bluey. Dianne is now part of the new Bluey Dancealongs on the show's YouTube channel. In her role, she choreographed and appeared in five dance videos for the series featuring young fans of the animated show. Speaking about the programme, Dianne remarked that it was "cool" to be part of it. (Image: Getty Images for BAFTA) Dianne said: "How cool that I got to go to Bluey's World in Australia to dance in Bluey's house with some incredibly talented kids dancing to some of Bluey's favourite tunes." She added that she loves Bluey's "message" to both children and adults alike, saying she "can't wait" to see people attempting the dance moves and "joining in the party". Dianne first appeared on Strictly with Reverend Richard Coles in 2017, but sadly left the competition in week three. However, she reached the final with Joe Sugg (whom she's currently dating) the following year. Her career has seen her appear on So You Think You Can Dance Australia and Dancing with the Stars Australia. According to the BBC, she's also an Australian Open Champion and has been an Amateur Australian Open finalist four times in Ballroom and Latin dancing. Her other former celebrity dance partners included DJ Dev Griffin, Max George, Robert Webb, Tyler West, and Bobby Brazier. After that, she was teamed up with Chris McCausland, the show's first-ever blind contestant.

Strictly stars forced to slash ticket prices by 80% after failing to sell out tours

The sudden drop in prices echoes similar recent struggles faced by other Strictly stars with their live events Sales Slump Strictly stars forced to slash ticket prices by 80% after failing to sell out tours Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ALJAZ Skorjanec and Janette Manrara are the latest Strictly stars to slash ticket prices by 80% after failing to sell out their tour. Aljaz, 35, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy last year alongside Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, has long been a fan favourite. His wife and professional dance partner Janette, 41, is equally loved by viewers and has continued to shine since stepping back from the main Strictly line-up. The sudden drop in prices echoes similar recent struggles faced by other Strictly stars with their live events. Just last month, The Sun revealed that Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood was forced to slash tickets for his one-man show by more than 70 per cent at some venues. Tickets for his gig at Birmingham's 2,262-seat Symphony Hall, scheduled for April 20, were originally priced between £39 and £89. But in a last-ditch attempt to fill empty seats, prices were quietly dropped to just £11 on seat-filling site Show Film First - a platform often used by artists and theatre producers to salvage undersold events. Despite the steep discount, more than a third of tickets were still unsold just hours before Craig took to the stage. The evening had promised 'big songs, tall tales, and glamour', as Craig swapped critiques for cabaret to showcase his lesser-known musical talents. Around the same time, Nadiya Bychkova faced her own challenges in selling out her 'tell-all' one-woman show. Inside Strictly couple Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec's luxury babymoon at Slovenian retreat Tickets for her tour, A Special Evening with Nadiya, were being flogged for as little as £5, with sources claiming she was struggling to fill venues across the country. Seats originally priced between £27 and £43 were cut to just £5 in a desperate attempt to fill seats - also through Show Film First. During the show, Nadiya pledged to lift the lid on her life story and share behind-the-scenes gossip from her time on Strictly, as well as perform some of her most memorable dances from the BBC series. 4 Tickets for their London Palladium performance are now available for just £15 Credit: Splash 4 Craig Revel Horwood was forced to slash his tickets by more than 70 per cent Credit: Rex
