Amazon portable grill that is shopper's 'favourite camping companion' gets 24% cut
Shoppers have said this compact grill is 'easy to use' and creates 'perfect food'.
As the summer brings in warmer days and lighter nights, many Brits will be excited to whip out their barbecues to start grilling their favourite meats and veg. However, for people who love to travel and camp, large barbecues aren't ideal as they are hard to carry and take up a lot of needed space.
Thankfully, Amazon has started its Home and Garden Week shopping event, which sees markdowns on many of your must-have home, gardening or camping products just in time for summer. This includes a variety of barbecues and other outdoor cooking appliances.
One such item is a portable, reusable barbecue that is said by Amazon shoppers to be easily transported and assembled. The Weber Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill usually retails for £109.99, but camping fanatics can now grab it for only £83.99 in a limited time deal.
As well as the 24 per cent saving, the grill has been described as lightweight, foldable and portable, making it the perfect companion for day trips to the beach or weekends away camping with friends and family. An added bonus is that the barbecue comes with a 10 year warranty, allowing you to use the device for years to come.
This travel-sized premium grill features a heat-resistant bowl and lid, a triple plated cooking grate and a handle with a heat shield. The outdoor cooking gadget also comes with folding legs that can pivot around the barbecue to allow users more stability when in use. These legs also lock the lid into place when carried.

Over on Argos, the retailer is selling the Weber Smokey Joe Premium Portable Charcoal BBQ for £99. Featuring a circular design, this barbecue also features Weber's airflow system to help keep your food sizzling away when you open the lid to check on it.
However, many Amazon shoppers have shown interest in the Go-Anywhere Grill - especially when it is reduced in price. Boasting 4.7 stars from over 1,500 shoppers, this Weber grill is currently one of Amazon's top choices.
One thrilled shopper wrote: "I recently purchased the Weber Go-Anywhere Barbecue Grill, and I am beyond satisfied with my decision. This little grill has quickly become my favorite companion for camping trips, tailgating, and even backyard grilling.
"Assembly was straightforward, and the grill is easy to use. The legs fold up neatly, and it's incredibly simple to pack up and take wherever I go. I love how sturdy and well-built the design is, and the black finish looks sleek and stylish."

It's not just a stylish addition to your garden, as the FSC-certified wood pole has a lean function that allows you to tilt the canopy whenever you feel the position sun shift. Meanwhile, the polycotton canopy is said to be "weatherproof", making it suitable for unpredictable UK summers.
Since the Riviera Stripe Parasol sold out within just over two months last year, it's expected that it will be popular once again this year. It's also no surprise to hear that it has managed to amass glowing five-star reviews on the George at Asda website.
One delighted customer wrote: "I'm blown away by how amazing this product is. I've been wanting to get a patterned parasol with a boho touch for a while, but unwilling to spend the £150+ that they normally are. I thought I'd give this one a go, but didn't expect much for the price.
"It is exactly what I wanted. Furthermore it also tips and has a lovely case. It is stylish, good, waterproof fabric and looks like something you would get from a much fancier, 'bespoke' store. I could not recommend it more."

However, one of the niggles that shoppers had with the barbecue is that it doesn't have any handles at the side. One shopper said: "My last one looked after me for 15 years, so no complaints. New ones don't have handles, which is a shame. In terms of quality, time will tell."
Another reviewer also wrote: "Good grill flawed by design. Unlike the US model, the UK model does not have side handles. This means it cannot be easily moved until cool as the legs secure the lid to the base. Such a shame that they would omit such a key safety feature for one market yet support it in another as the grill side of it is fantastic."
Despite this, many shoppers were delighted with their new travel companion. A five-star reviewer added: "Absolute perfect for cooking up dinner for the family. When you can't be bothered to fire up the big bbq or the gas bbq, this is the perfect size for cooking a few burgers, steaks, sausages etc."
With a further shopper writing: "Perfect food cooked on this great little barbecue. The lid makes all the difference as opposed to cooking over an open grill. The cooking surface is just the right distance from the coals - i.e. doesn't burn everything.
"The inside of the pan is easy to clean and there are no ashes falling out of the bottom to burn the grass, so no need to find bricks to stand it on. It isn't cheap but it's very sturdy and should last many years. Very easily stacked inside the car because it's a sensible rectangle shape."
