On Saturday, May 31, the "Godfather of Punk," 78—who performed shirtless, by the way—wrapped up a show in Manchester, England, by literally climbing into a casket and then being wheeled off stage.

After singing his final song, Iggy, whose real name is James Osterberg Jr., made a bold statement by stepping into the coffin while wearing only black pants and shoes at the O2 Victoria Warehouse.
Fans took to social media to post photos and clips from the "Candy" rocker's dramatic exit, sharing their reactions in the process.
One X user uploaded two snaps of Iggy being carted off.
Meanwhile, a TikTok fan posted a video from the show writing, "The coffin exit 💀 (also no way I held his hand?!)."
In the comments of a different TikTok clip, more Iggy Pop fans reacted to the coffin moment.
