Multiple child porn files uploaded to Shafter teacher's Kik accounts: doc
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Multiple files containing child pornography were uploaded through Kik Messenger accounts linked to a Shafter teacher, according to a court filing.
Police searched Zachary McGraw's cellphone after receiving an alert about the uploads and determining his IP address was used, according to a probable cause declaration that became available Tuesday.

They found folders labeled '2024 teen stuff,' 'CHILD' and 'cp' — short for child porn, according to the declaration.
McGraw, a 6th grade teacher at Golden Oak Elementary School, admitted the phone belonged to him, police said. He was charged this week with advertising for distribution and possession of child pornography.
Free on $70,000 bail, he's scheduled to make his first court appearance Feb. 26. The superintendent of Richland School District said he's on paid administrative leave.

McGraw's home on Pinion Court was searched in December. He was arrested then, but released without being charged.
He was rearrested Monday when charges were filed, records show.
