‘Too Much' trailer: Lena Dunham's rom-com features Megan Stalter, Jessica Alba, Andrew Scott and more
Netflix has released the official trailer for Too Much, its upcoming romantic comedy series created by Lena Dunham and Luis Felber. The streaming platform also confirmed a slate of high-profile guest stars joining the series, including Jessica Alba, Rita Ora, Andrew Scott, Kit Harington, and Jennifer Saunders. Starring Megan Stalter in the lead role, Too Much follows Jessica, a work-obsessed New Yorker in her mid-thirties who's struggling after the collapse of a long-term relationship. According to Netflix's description, Jessica, isolated and emotionally adrift, decides to move to London to escape her past and embrace solitude. Her plans are upended when she meets Felix (Will Sharpe), a charismatic musician whose presence complicates her carefully drawn boundaries. Alongside Stalter and Sharpe, the main and supporting cast includes Janicza Bravo, Richard E. Grant, Leo Reich, Daisy Bevan, Adele Exarchopoulos, Dean-Charles Chapman, Rita Wilson, Naomi Watts, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Andrew Rannells, Rhea Perlman, Stephen Fry, Kaori Momoi, and Adwoa Aboah. Dunham, known for her HBO series Girls, co-created Too Much with musician and husband Luis Felber. She writes, directs, and executive produces the show through her Good Thing Going Productions. The series is a collaboration between NBCUniversal's Working Title and Universal International Studios.

Lena Dunham's ‘Too Much' Comedy Series Gets Netflix Premiere Date; First Look
We're getting a first look and premiere date for Lena Dunham's upcoming Netflix comedy Too Much. The series, starring Meg Stalter and Will Sharpe, will launch July 10 on the streamer. You can see some first-look photos above and below. Co-created by Dunham and Luis Ferber, Too Much centers on Jessica (Stalter) a New York workaholic in her mid-thirties, reeling from a broken relationship that she thought would last forever and slowly isolating everyone she knows. When every block in New York tells a story of her own bad behaviour, the only solution is to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Bronte sister. But when she meets Felix (Sharpe) – a walking series of red flags – she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves. Now they have to ask themselves: do Americans and Brits actually speak the same language?
