Fishing website ranks Panama City among top 8 red snapper fishing sites in the Gulf
PANAMA CITY ― Panama City has been named one of the top red-snapper fishing destinations in the Gulf, according to
provided a list of eight fishing destinations for red-snapper fishing in which Panama City was one of the destinations. The website did not rank the eight.
Florida took three other spots on the list: Pensacola Beach, Clearwater and Lee County. The others include Galveston, Texas; Dauphin Island, Alabama; Grand Isle, Louisiana; and The Secret Coast, Mississippi.
"While Panama City itself is tucked behind a barrier island, it only takes a quick exit through St. Andrews Inlet and you're in prime Red Snapper territory," The FishingBooker website says.
