Kanpur: In accordance with the directives given by the Juvenile Justice Committee of the Allahabad high court, district judge of Kanpur Nagar, Chavan Prakash, conducted a surprise inspection of the Govt Girls' Home Unit-1 in Swaroop Nagar, Govt Girls' Home Unit-2 in Nawabganj Khayora, and Govt Boys' Home in Kalyanpur. During the inspection of Girls' Home Unit-1, three girls requested to be sent home. The superintendent informed them that their parents were not willing to take them. The district judge instructed the district probation officer to ensure that necessary actions are taken to send the girls home. During the inspection of Govt Girls' Home Unit-2, the facility was found to be unclean, and there were only four doctor visits this month. At the inspection of Govt Boys' Home in Kalyanpur, the district judge praised a teacher named Suman who was found regularly educating the children and conducting various activities.
