Woman kills husband for raping deaf-mute daughter
Rajkot: Police have filed a complaint of murder against a 45-year-old woman for killing her 56-year-old husband, ostensibly because he had raped her daughter, who is hearing- and speech-impaired.

The daughter, who is 24 years old, was from a previous marriage. The 45-year-old woman had married the victim about 15 years ago.
According to the FIR filed by the victim's brother at Morbi Taluka police station, police called him to the hospital on Thursday night, where he met his sister-in-law.
She told him that she had returned home from work that evening and saw blood inside their room, with the victim's clothes lying around and her daughter nowhere to be found.
She suspected sexual assault, as her husband had molested her daughter earlier. She flew into a rage, pushed her husband to the ground and kept kicking him in the chest till he lost consciousness.
She then went looking for her daughter. A Gram Rakshak Dal (GRD) jawan she met helped in her search. She finally found her daughter cowering under a tractor trolley in the factory compound, terrified and covered in blood. Her daughter told her in sign language that the deceased had raped her at knifepoint.
The GRD jawan then called the police. Police arrived and found that the man had died. They sent the body for a postmortem and took the 24-year-old woman for a medical examination.
S K Charol, inspector of Morbi Taluka police station, said, "We are yet to arrest the accused. We are gathering evidence and medical reports and have started the investigation." The 46-year-old woman has been booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 103(1) for murder.
