Ipswich hotel may not be restored to former use, says owner

Mr Howard said the building was looking "very sad for itself" and that he was keen to bring it back in to purchased the site from an investment company. "It's sat here for so long, it's got so many memories for so many people," he told the BBC."We really need to get this occupied."The hotel is listed as a Grade II* building by Historic Howard said he was hoping to work with Ipswich Borough Council and said he "might well need some support from the local authority to get it up and running again".Ipswich Borough Council was contacted for comment.
