Plea hearing will be held for former Greece official on Thursday
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Former Greece Deputy Town Supervisor Michelle Marini is expected to make a plea Thursday.
Marini was charged with third-degree felony corrupting the government, three counts of fourth-degree felony grand larceny, and official misconduct. She initially pleaded not guilty to these charges.
Prosecutors say the charges Marini faces are connected to the development and construction of the Greece Community and Senior Center. She was also accused of tracking a Greece resident using a GPS system.
Marini was accused of misconduct in a lawsuit filed against the Town of Greece. The lawsuit claims she allegedly spread false information in relation to a former police chief's DWAI crash in 2021. Two other lawsuits — filed by Ryan Murphy and Tina Bachman — also accuse the Town of Greece of tracking them.
