The Manchester museum named one of Europe's best in its field
While many schools are back today, some have only just broken up for February half term this week - which means looking for things to do to keep them occupied.
Luckily Greater Manchester is home to a wide variety of museums, covering everything from natural history to policing.
Of course, being home to two world-famous football clubs, it makes sense that the National Football Museum is based right here in Manchester.

Now a new study has revealed that it ranks among the top ten football museums in Europe, alongside the likes of museums in Greece, Italy and Germany.
Researchers from Live Football Tickets analysed customer reviews on Tripadvisor and the cost of admission for football museums across Europe to find the best ones.
The National Football Museum in Manchester managed to secure a spot in the top ten, with an average Tripadvisor rating of 4.26 out of five and a museum score of 6.9 out of 10.
The museum costs £8 for kids and £14 for adults, whereas the Greek Football Museum in Chania, which topped the list, has free entry.
But Manchester's museum is free for Manchester city residents and visitors who are returning within 12 months of their original booking.
Another UK-based football museum made the top ten: the Scottish Football Museum in Glasgow which came in third on the list.
The National Football museum is home to the world's largest public collection of football objects and archives. Among some of the objects on display are the world's first international football shirts, the oldest surviving FA Cup trophy and the oldest surviving Women's FA Cup trophy.
