Popular Greengallery in Buchlyivie announces new exhibition this March
A wonderful new exhibition is coming to one of Scotland's most popular art galleries this summer. Featuring new artists from Scotland and the UK plus some gallery favourites, the show titled 'New Perspectives' starts Sunday March 9, 2-5pm.
The result of an open call for new talent, New Perspectives will showcase a variety of exhibition talent from all across the British Isles.

Established 31 years ago, Greengallery is situated just 14 miles west of Stirling and 18 miles north of Glasgow, in the picturesque village area of Buchlyvie.
Spanning three decades this well-established rural based art gallery has garnered a reputation for the very best contemporary Scottish paintings and applied arts in a relaxed environment, and continues to develop new talent as well as showcasing well-known artists in their own unique and relaxed way.
This includes furniture and textile designer influence allowing clients to visualise how paintings or sculpture would look in their own homes.
Never trend led, Greengallery chooses artists because they are unique and have their own style.
Each year they have four big exhibitions on show.

In May and November they also have contemporary craft stands over a weekend, again carefully curated and bringing the best makers to the forefront.
They also offer complete consultancy advice, starting with a visit to a clients home, discussing work they would like to see, right through to trying in the home itself with advice on hanging and framing also.
When it comes to buying they can offer finance opportunity allowing clients to buy over a period of time that suits them.
Their new Exhibition is the result of an Open Call, where they had a massive response from artists all over the UK who wanted to showcase exciting new talent in the gallery.

'There are many great artists to choose from but the final selection chosen came down to the us seeing work that hit us straight between the eyes' explains GreenGallery owner Becky Walker.
Becky explains 'All the artists in this forthcoming March show are completely new to our clients and there is a theme of more abstract work running through it. We also chose work that would sit comfortably next to each other. Our light filled custom adapted space is perfect for showing large works and we try and offer something for everyone on both floors offering ceramics, jewellery and outside sculpture as well.
Like other galleries we can also ship work, we are well experience in wrapping and sending all over the world.
