Pedestrian identified after fatal hit-and-run at US 29 N, Randleman Road exit, Greensboro police say
GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a man dead, according to a press release. At 6:35 a.m. Sunday, Greensboro Police responded to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian at the U.S. 29 North/I-40 East merge and Randleman Road exit, where officers located a man, later identified as 26-year-old Victor Guillermo Jimenez-Rodriquez, suffering from injuries that indicated he had been hit by a car. Ungray Locke drives this road daily, and he was disappointed that the person responsible didn't stick around to help the victim. 'If somebody's walking, you should be cautious, and if you hit them, just stop … Call the police,' Locke said.
