Danny Jones makes TV comeback with I'm A Celeb co-star after 'drunken' Maura Higgins kiss
Danny Jones is making his TV return months after he shocked fans by 'kissing' Love Island star Maura Higgins at a BRITs afterparty - despite being married.
The singer, 39, has kept a low profile since he was caught on camera locking lips with Maura, 34, in March, sparking a storm of controversy.
The fallout saw Danny issue a public apology to wife Georgia Horsley and their seven-year-old son Cooper, admitting he was 'deeply sorry' and vowing to deal with things privately.
Now, Danny is stepping back into the spotlight with a brand new telly gig and will join the second series of You Bet!, ITV 's rebooted challenge show, hosted by Stephen Mulhern.
Danny will appear alongside former I'm A Celeb campmate Oti Mabuse and Olympian Greg Rutherford, and has already filmed some segments at London 's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
In behind-the-scenes clips shared on his Instagram, Danny looked upbeat as he returned to work, grinning alongside his co-stars and cheering on contestants tackling extreme rides.
In one of the shots, Oti looked uber glam in an all-black attire, as she beamed and waved at the camera.
Meanwhile Greg, who appeared in series 14 of Strictly Come Dancing, looked dapper in a striped shirt and black trousers as he sat in the middle of Oti and Danny.
MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.
Meanwhile Danny returned to the stage with McFly for the first time since his 'drunken' BRITs kiss scandal.
The legendary boyband headlined new festival Tunes On The Bay at Swansea's seafront on Friday, May 2.
Danny shared a series of snaps of himself on stage posing in front of a huge crowd, alongside band members Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, while fans shared videos of the group performing on stage.
He captioned the Instagram post: 'Back with my people. Thank you Swansea.'
The performance and news of the telly gig comes as Danny, is thought to be returning to The Voice, along with his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher, 38.

Despite Danny returning, LeAnn Rimes has reportedly quit in a shake-up.
A source told The Sun: 'LeAnn loved her time on the UK show, but wants to focus on her career in the States.
'She was hugely popular with cast and crew and everybody loved having her as part of the team.
'Bosses are currently on the lookout for another female singer to join the all-star line-up, they haven't made a decision just yet but are having conversations.'

Both TV shows will mark the first major gig the I'm A Celeb winner has had since the fallout from his controversial snog with campmate Maura Higgins.
He previously featured on screens during a one-off children's event at Buckingham Palace but YouBet! and The Voice will be his first major TV projects since the scandal.
He and his wife Georgia's marriage was rocked after Danny shared a drunken kiss with campmate Maura at a Universal Records party.
Further reports claimed the pair had continued their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu Hotel bar.
Danny, who apologised to his wife and family for 'putting them in this situation ', has stayed living at the couple's West London home, where Georgia moved to on her own as he appeared on the ITV jungle series in December.
Sources claimed to MailOnline that despite their efforts, Danny and Georgia are like 'passing ships' and friends fear their relationship is hanging on by a thread.
A source told MailOnline: 'Danny and Georgia have been trying to navigate a very difficult time in their marriage and for the best part they have been taking each day as it comes.
'They may be living under the same roof, but they barely see each other and right now are like passing ships.
'Danny is preparing for his summer gigs with McFly, and Georgia has been attending influencer events and collaborating with brands, all while looking after son, Cooper, who regularly features on her Instagram profile.
'But when they're not working, Danny is out on his motorbike or exercising in the gym, and Georgia is either on her own or spending time with family and girlfriends.
'They haven't actually been publicly seen together for six weeks and behind the scenes, their relationship is anything but normal.'
