Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in rollover crash in Hebron
A woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash in Hebron on Sunday that also injured one other person.
The crash occurred on Route 85 in the area of Martin Road just before 5 p.m. when a 64-year-old Hebron woman traveling south in a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder crossed the yellow center lines while negotiating a left curve in the road, according to Connecticut State Police.
The Pathfinder struck the driver's side of a Ford E-350 Super Duty van that was being driven in the opposite direction, state police said. The collision caused the van to spin off the road and the Pathfinder to roll over.
The driver of the Pathfinder was taken to Hartford Hospital for serious injuries that were believed to be life-threatening, according to state police.
The van driver, a 38-year-old Coventry man, was taken to Windham Hospital for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
