Kerry school holds ‘outstanding' bingo loco fundraiser in Tralee in aid of all-weather field project
The fundraiser, held at the Greyhound Bar, was attended by more than 100 people who enjoyed a fantastic evening of craic in the name of a good cause.
Proceeds from the event, which was organised by the Holy Family NS fundraising committee, will go towards the school's effort to install an all-weather playing field on its grounds.
Holy Family NS principal Maria O'Regan expressed a sincere thanks to the staff of The Greyhound Bar for their exceptional hospitality, and to the many local businesses who generously supported the fundraiser through the donation of spot prizes.
Ms O'Regan said the fundraiser was an 'outstanding success'
'Our fundraising committee continues to work tirelessly to help realise our goal of installing an AstroTurf pitch on our school grounds,' Ms O'Regan said.
'We were also delighted to welcome back past pupil and local DJ, Kenneth McMahon, who provided outstanding entertainment on the night.'
