How to donate to Grenada County storm victims
ELLIOT, Miss. — Cleaning efforts are underway across parts of Mississippi following tornadoes over the weekend.
Countless volunteers have dedicated their time and energy to helping those in need.
From food and water to clothing and shoes, there are plenty areas of need in recovering Grenada County.
Clothes are organized by size and tables are stocked with supplies at Elliot Baptist Church.
'You see it on Facebook. You see it on the news and it's nothing compared to driving through here and seeing people that you love and their house is being completely destroyed,' volunteer Morgan Eskridge said.
Despite having no power in the area, the resilience of the community shines through.

'It was heartbreaking. The damage was heartbreaking,' volunteer Madeline Willis said. 'And I tell you, I slept right through it on Friday night. But when I got up on Saturday morning and went down eight, I just said, 'Thank God that no one was killed in this storm.'
Eskridge said people from as far as China have donated money. Folks as near as Memphis have given food and clothes to victims of the storm.
'People are getting out and cleaning up and just any little thing helps. People are asking, what can we do? What can we do to help? We set up a Venmo that people can use, the needs on the ground,' Eskridge said. 'They may not have home insurance. So, it's just so important that people help people.'
Several food trucks are helping out, free of charge, including Grub662 which traveled from Calhoun County.
