Gunit said the first signs were noticed by her maternal grandmother, who recognised symptoms from a relative who had a different type of nephrotic syndrome.'It all started when I was very young,' she said in her video, adding, 'My naani saw the signs, and that's how we found out. We went to many children's hospitals, but there wasn't much they could do.'She added that her mother was hesitant to put her on steroids, but the treatment became unavoidable.
