Meet Gunjan, wife of Kohli's RCB teammate, her wedding was postponed multiple times due to..., husband's name is...

Gunjan is the wife of an RCB player and her wedding was rescheduled several times because of the IPL. After helping RCB claim the title, her husband is now grabbing attention for other reasons. Rajat Patidar is known for his consistent yet explosive knocks. RCB elected him as the captain for IPL 2025 season and he re-paid the trust by winning them the title. He became first skipper in RCB's history to lift the IPL trophy. Rajat's wedding with Gunjan was supposed to be held on May 9, 2022. The family went ahead and selected a bride from Ratlam and made arrangements for a ceremony at a hotel in Indore. Unexpected events made them change their plans completely. Not being selected in the IPL 2022 mega auction allowed Rajat's family to plan the wedding around cricket matches. Interestingly, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) brought him on board to replace Luvnith Sisodia after his injury. The quick opportunity caused a switch from thinking about the wedding to focusing on cricket. Rajat grasped his chance in the IPL by scoring a century in the playoff match against Lucknow Super Giants. Because of his successful role in Breakout, his marriage was delayed. Manohar Patidar explained later that planned events with the family were rescheduled several times because of his son's duties in cricket. Despite achieving more fame, Rajat Patidar likes to keep his personal life away from the spotlight. Because cricket is the only passion he focuses on, it has made people wonder about his private life and respect his decision to keep it private.

Operation Sindoor: Meet the real Gunjan Saxena, a Delhi Hansraj College graduate, who became first woman IAF officer to fight in Kargil War

As Operation Sindoor dominates national attention, the country reflects with awe and pride on the valor of its armed forces. Launched as a powerful counter-response to the harrowing terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Operation Sindoor has seen India execute a swift, calculated, and highly successful military retaliation . #Operation Sindoor India-Pakistan Clash Live Updates| Missiles, shelling, and attacks — here's all that's happening Pakistani Air Force jet shot down in Pathankot by Indian Air Defence: Sources India on high alert: What's shut, who's on leave, and state-wise emergency measures This strategic endeavor, unfolding across the highly volatile Pakistan-occupied zones of Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalakot, Chakswari, Bhimber, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, and Chakwal, struck with laser-like precision. Over 60 militants have reportedly been neutralized or severely injured, underlining India's uncompromising resolve against terror crossing its borders. Amid this resurgence of patriotic fervor, memories of past heroes return to the national consciousness—among them, the inspiring story of Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena , the trailblazing aviator who redefined bravery in the skies during the Kargil War . by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Google Brain Co-Founder Andrew Ng, Recommends: Read These 5 Books And Turn Your Life Around Blinkist: Andrew Ng's Reading List Undo Born in Lucknow in 1975 into a family steeped in military service, Gunjan grew up watching her father, Lt. Col. (Retd.) Ashok Kumar Saxena, and brother Anshuman Saxena, serve the country in uniform. From a young age, she dreamed of flying—not just planes, but also past societal norms that confined women. She pursued her passion for science at Hansraj College, Delhi, and trained in aviation at the Delhi Flying Club. Determined and fearless, she cracked the Services Selection Board exams and earned her commission into the Indian Air Force , joining a historic batch of 25 pioneering women officers in 1994. In a profession heavily dominated by men, Gunjan stood firm, not asking for acceptance, but demanding her space in the cockpit. Her resilience paid off. During the 1999 Kargil conflict, Gunjan was posted in Udhampur, J&K, and quickly became a central figure in Operation Vijay and Operation Safed Sagar. Flying unarmed Cheetah helicopters into enemy-infested warzones, she undertook daring missions to evacuate the wounded, transport supplies, and conduct reconnaissance under constant threat of enemy fire. At just 25, she was entrusted with some of the most perilous sorties—and never once faltered. Her courage saved hundreds. Her quiet strength proved louder than any propaganda. And her calm in crisis turned her into a national icon—eventually earning her the moniker "Kargil Girl." Years later, when Bollywood turned her story into a biopic with Janhvi Kapoor portraying her on screen, Gunjan's reaction was humble. 'You've lived your life—you don't think it's extraordinary. But when someone else views it, maybe it becomes a story worth telling,' she reflected in an interview. Today, as Operation Sindoor continues and soldiers carry out their duty with fierce commitment, Gunjan Saxena's legacy reminds us that courage is not about the absence of fear—but the ability to rise above it.

Exclusive- Roopal Tyagi on her experience of working in TV shows says, 'It teaches you how to balance priorities and give your best under pressure'

Actress , popularly known for her role as Gunjan in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, talks about working on Television for years. She shared her experience as a TV actor. She said, "What I truly believe is one of the greatest things about working in television is that it teaches you how to perform under intense pressure. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Whether it's the pressure of time, receiving scripts at the last minute, or having little to no preparation, television trains you to adapt quickly. You learn to truly embody your character so deeply that even if something is thrown at you unexpectedly, you instinctively know how your character would respond. That's an incredible skill to develop." She continued, "In fact, when you see an actor delivering a strong performance on television, it's important to recognize the level of discipline and talent that is required. If someone is doing well in such a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, you can be sure they'll shine just as brilliantly—if not more—in mediums like OTT or film, where there's more time for rehearsal and character preparation." She explained, "Television actors are constantly working against the clock. We often shoot an episode a day and sustain the same character over months or even years. To keep that character fresh, engaging, and emotionally consistent over such long periods takes a tremendous amount of craft. So if someone can pull that off successfully, it says a lot about their calibre as an actor." She added, "That's the beauty of television—it teaches you how to balance priorities, stay focused, and give your best under pressure. It's a tough space, but it builds you up in ways few other formats cant." Talking ahead about her share of struggle she mentioned, "I've been in the industry for around 17 years now—first as a choreographer and then as a television actor, working across both fiction and non-fiction formats. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now One of the biggest things I've observed over the years is the lack of proper guidance in the industry. When I started out, there was no structure at all. We didn't even know who to approach or how to go about things. " "While things are starting to become a bit more organized now, and I do see some positive changes happening, this gap in mentorship and structure has been a long-standing issue—not just in television, but across the entertainment industry as a whole. The fact that things are slowly evolving is definitely a step in the right direction," she concluded. She was last seen in , and is also known for featuring in shows like Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Dill Mill Gaye, Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah, Kasamh Se. She also contested reality shows like Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Bigg Boss 9.
